    Kolo knew where to take us and was super helpful to first time kayakers. We enjoyed it so much. After kayaking down the river we found ourselves at a beautiful beach and ready to snorkel. Kolo went in with us and pointed out fish and turtles. We had a blast!

    Beautiful kayak down the river and into the ocean with everything you need. Bring a rain jacket since this is the second time doing this tour and it rained both times. Still gorgeous and absolutely worth it. Coastal weather can be unpredictable our guides shared history, culture, snacks and were so kind. I was able to hold an octopus, my dream. Her name is Betty now.

    Our guide was fantastic, and being a native Hawaiian, he was very knowledgable about the flora and fauna of Hawaii. Highly recommend. One coral creature we saw he wasn’t sure about; it’s a spaghetti worm and very cool! 5 stars!

    Our guide, Gabe, was outstanding. He started out with a "meet and greet" where all the participants learned a little about each other; he provided excellent instructions and suggestions; he stopped along the way giving insights and education about local flora and fauna, and Hawaiian lore; he gave attentive assistance to all of us, as needed. And, he was very warm and friendly. As a senior citizen, by myself, Gabe was especially sensitive to my needs and concerns. The kayaking was fun and beautiful; the snorkel experience was wonderful: lots of fish and turtles!

    This was a awesome excursion that was one of the best decisions we made in our visit to Hawaii. Getting to kayak through the beautiful scenic river and snorkel into the ocean was amazing. The coral reef and sea life we saw made this experience an unforgettable one. We have done activities like this in the past but this one was really special and we thought for the price it was of great value!

    We saw many beautiful fish and turtles. Our guides were fantastic and shared stories of the land. Very happy with this experience and have lasting memories.

    The history of the area was remarkable, the kayaking was good but not overly exhausting and the sea life during the snorkeling was amazing with giant turtles, a small shark and lots of colorful and beautiful smaller fish. Great guides!

    The kayak and snorkel was one of the highlights of our trip. The host was incredibly knowledgeable about the river and island. The snorkeling was some of the best that we found. Would recommend doing this early in your trip so that you can rent kayaks and explore more.

    Learning the history of the area and the surrounding mountains. Favourite part was learning that the song I've known since childhood (Puff the Magic Dragon) originated here in Hanalei Bay. The snorkeling was great!

    What an amazing tour, Gabe was an incredible tour guide. Wouldn’t have been the same without him. And the snorkeling is the best I’ve ever seen. Would not come back to Kauai without doing it again definitely made the trip.

    What a peaceful and beautiful way to experience the river and ocean. Gabe brought it to life with his knowledge-we loved the cracking open a coconut and eating papaya on the sand.
