      Great time. Shannon was an excellent guide. Very knowledge, as well as fun to talk with and entertaining. Small group so things were flexible and she was totally willing to go with the flow and adjust as needed. Gave us all ideas on how to take the best photos. Drinks and simple snacks provided were appreciated.

      Definitely worth it -- even on an overcast day

      We were drawn to this tour because it offered a more private opportunity to explore Haleakala as opposed to doing so with a bus full of other people. Shannon, our guide, was very personable and a delight to spend time with. Her knowledge of the area was extensive, and we came away learning so much about area. Although it was an overcast evening, it was still worth the drive up to the top to experience the expansive view from 10,000 feet. The higher up you go, the cooler and windier it gets. While we planned for this, our guide had warm jackets if additional layers were needed. At the end of the tour, the drop-off directly at the Pride of America pier was greatly appreciated.

      Not worth the money

      I am loathe to post a negative review but I honestly feel that this tour was NOT worth the money. We did not have Erik as our guide so perhaps that would have made a difference. Shannon was very nice and personable. However, we were cramped into the third row of a minivan (and my husband is a big man), there was not a lot of information provided and we received very few photos (multiple copies of us in 3 locations all at the one stop on Haleakala). The snacks provided were bags of potato chips, nothing special. I texted a few times asking for more photos and did receive a few more of the view from where we stopped but I also asked for the video that was supposed to be included and I got a video from someone else's tour with photos of my husband and I spliced in. There were only 4 people on our tour and the video shows other people who were not with us. Overall, very disappointing considering the cost. We definitely could have done this on our own and saved the money.

      I’m sorry that you did not have a positive experience. I was doing a full Hana day and had my wife help me out. I’m not quite sure what more you wanted for photos. I sent you 40 pictures and a video and I’ve never had a complaint about my photos before. In the future if you let the company now the size of someone who may need a certain seat. Most companies including myself will make sure they are in the right spot. Hope you life is filled with aloha and many more sunsets.🌅

      Our tour with Marko was great! He was very friendly and full of information about the island and great tips on places to visit/things to do. It was pretty chilly at the top and he came well prepared with warm gear and chairs to make us comfortable. He took lots of pictures for us and also brought snacks and drinks and even some homemade candied pecans which were delicious. And the view from the top was nothing short of amazing!

      Our guide Erik was an excellent driver on the long and windy road to the top of Haleakala. He also provided snacks as well as warm jackets. It is chilly on top but the views of the crater and the gorgeous sunset were worth it! Erik took lots of photos and videos which he airdropped to everyone in our small group. It was a beautiful evening

      My husband and I loved this tour! Erik was an awesome tour guide. He taught us about the land and history of the volcano and area surrounding it. I love the small tours way better than large ones. So much more personal and just overall a better experience. 10/10 would recommend! Book with Erik you won’t regret it!

      This was a fun trip and mother nature cooperated for us to so a great sun set. I can tell you it was a hour long turning and twisting road that was like riding an old wooden Rollercoaster.

      Absolutely the best trip ever. Erik was a phenomenal guide and added personal touches of pictures and video taken of our group of 5. Erik was knowledgable and tailored our trip specifically to our group. He had special spots to view the sunset and see the volcano that we could not have known about on our own. Well worth every penny and we would do it again in a heartbeat. We will definitely tell others about this extraordinary trip. The weather couldn’t have been any better for this trip. So peaceful and quiet at the top.

      Breathtaking views and a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Erik was great and provided us with jackets and snacks, he also took some great pictures and video. I recommend this tour for anyone visiting Hawaii.

      This was a great tour. Excellent opportunity to sightsee the beauty of the mountain with someone who is well versed about the island. We have a wonderful time and would do again. Highly recommended!

      Dramatic Sunset Above the Clouds

      Erick was the tour guide and was very knowledgeable of the area. He showed us this others would not. We parked in an area that was not crowded. He showed us the highlights of the crater and took photos of us. We left just at sunset. I was a little disappointed with this. However, my disappoint soon changed. We got a different perspective of the sunset. You have to trust your guide!! Thanks for the experience we had!!

      Erik was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable about Maui history. Nice, clean vehicle, plus beverages & snacks. We thought he was kidding about how cold it does get up on the top, but he was so right, and we're really glad he brought warm jackets for us to use. Highly recommend this experience ...
