The captain and his crew were awesome! We went snorkeling since there weren’t too many whales left at this time of the year. We had a great time!

We had a very good experience. The crew members were very friendly and helpful. We did see a few whales although it was towards the end of the whale watching season. During the snorkeling session, the crew were very patient with me and the kids who had never swam in the open ocean before and they helped the kids relax. Shout out specifically to Kyle and Renee for their help! Overall I would strongly recommend this tour.

Awesome crew, we went at the tail end of the season but still managed to see 2 separate mom whales with their baby..did some great snorkeling and saw some turtle's.....the whole experience was the best...

We saw a lot of whales. It’s really amazing. The crew on the boat are excellent. They are very family friendly and helpful. The customer service is exceptional throughout the booking process. They kept contact with us to ensure we know the schedule and remind us about the items we need to bring for the activity. There are 10 of us in the party. We all have a great time.

This was a very fun catamaran trip!! The boat had adequate seating for all and enough covered area if you didn't want to be in the sun. There is a bathroom on board, but I did not use it. We were fortunate to see many whales! The captain and 3 crew members were very attentive to all! There was ample bottled water, soda, chips, meat/cheese tortilla wraps and cookies. The selection of appropriate sized snorkel fins and masks was good and the snorkelers were in the water about 30-45 minutes. Totally recommend this tour!

Captain, crew, and the boat were pretty awesome! Parking sucked. Ended up with a broken window in my rental jeep. They also got the car next to me. Watch out!

One of the most amazing adventures. The staff were so amazing and attentive on this trip. They even snuck in a surprise snorkeling in. The captain made sure that we spotted the whales and allowed to take as many pictures that was needed. This was 10/10 highly recommend.

Captain Brandon and his crew: Renee, Carl, Glen, and Jess were wonderful hosts. Informative and funny. We knew it was going to be a good day when we saw a momma and her baby right out of the harbor. We were fortunate to see 64 whales. We even celebrated the Captain’s mom’s birthday and another passenger’s birthday and ended the tour with a happy birthday song This was our 3rd whale watching tour and it was the best. The catamaran was awesome and everyone had a great view. We would highly recommend the Mākena Coast Charters - the Winona and this crew.

Seeing a baby humpback with the mother and the very large escort was wonderful! We didn’t experience the exuberant playfulness of whales breaching, which is probably everyone’s expectation, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on the catamaran and the gorgeous weather. The crew was excellent, friendly and full of information.

The crew was awesome! Wonderful experience seeing all of those whales!!!! Our first time in Maui and first time whale watching. It is a wonderful memory forever. Don't pass up this chance if you visit in Jan/Feb; you are guaranteed to see whales -- mother's and their babies and males competing to be the bodyguard. So cool.
