Our agency works with professional tour guides who are independent contractors. They are contracted for a duration of 4 hours per tour. The total duration of each tour, which ranges from 4 to 5 hours, takes into account the time spent on transportation from the client's pickup location and the traffic conditions on the booked date and time
Cape Sounio extension adds ~4-5 hours to the overall tour duration
Cape Sounio extension does not include professional tour guide and entrance fees, travellers are visiting the site by themselves and this portion of the tour is conducted by an english speaking, history-proficient driver and potentially a tour host depending on availability on the tour date
Post Covid 19 Policy: Vehicles will be sanitized before every pick up. Hand sanitizing done before departure and after every major stop. Face masks available for clients. Guides will wear facemasks and use microphone when guiding. Fresh trash bag will be place in every vehicle and waste will be destroyed at the end of the tours.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Overall a nice tour but wish it could have been more personalized. The tour booking said 48 hours before the tour would email us but they never did. The driver got lost finding us but was very nice. The guide did not meet us at our pick up point as indicated and instead joined us later on the trip and then left before we were dropped off. Would be better if the guide was with us the whole time as advertised. She sat in the front of the van with a microphone instead of being more personable sitting with us. The acropolis was great but a storm was approaching and we kept asking her to move quicker to avoid the storm. She said it would not rain and of course then it poured on us the everyone tried to leave at the same time causing a massive delay while it was raining. They never offered to take us to the acropolis museum even though it was advertised - we much more would have enjoyed that instead of driving around in wet clothes in the van for an hour after the acropolis. This review sounds more negative than it was. They were nice but overall for the money spent not worth it.

Mrs Effie and Alex were wonderful. Even though it started with a missed connection they were gracious and we quickly were back on track. We did everything we wanted and then some. Alex then took us on the drive to Cape Sounion, so beautiful and the Temple of Poseidon is not to be missed. Being able to skip the line at the Acropolis was a nice perk. I definitely recommend Mrs Effie and Alex. They make a great team and are so knowledgeable about Athens history, past and present. We had a thoroughly wonderful time!

We were picked up on time at our hotel to start our private tour by our driver. We then headed to the Acropolis to meet our tour guide. There really is no such thing as "skip the line of Acropolis" per our guide. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait long (<10 min). So, don't get duped into purchasing a ticket for this. Parris was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. He spoke exceptionally good English and accommodated all the sites we wanted to see (We planned ahead of time what we wanted to see during our time. Parris and our driver then figured out the best route/time to see each of the sites. We highly recommend doing pre-planning to get the most of your private tour). He gave us Greek, historical, and Christian (if applicable) insights to each site we stopped at (8+ sites). It was helpful for us to see a broader perspective. Parris took his time and answered any question we had without being annoyed. He even showed us a favorable place to exchange money and a great Greek restaurant to eat dinner at that was non-touristy and authentic. This was a fantastic way to see all the sites we wanted without all the crowds or having to walk everywhere in the hot sun. It is at your pace and based on what you want to see!!! We learned about all the structures on the Acropolis instead of just wandering around wondering what we were looking at. This tour is pricey and only included tickets to the Acropolis. But it was soooo worth it!!! If you stop at other points of interest, you may have to pay to enter as it's not included in the tour. I highly recommend seeing the top tourist sites + those off the beaten path with a personal tour - specifically Parris!

The half day Athens tour was exactly what we hoped for. We were a group of five family members who had a limited time window to fit in a tour. This tour was perfect because of the flexibility it offers in time and schedule. Our tour guide (Peggy) and our driver (Alex) were both friendly and ever so knowledgeable. Peggy is a wonderful and experienced tour guide who took us through the skip-the-line acropolis tour with fascinating and informative commentary. I can't imagine doing that tour without a guide like Peggy. While watching the changing of the guards at the presidential palace, Alex added a personal touch sharing his own first hand experience as a former member of the elite guards. We strongly recommend this tour to anyone who values their time and wants to make the most of their visit to Athens!

This tour was perfect for our multigenerational family. They picked us up promptly at our hotel and the tour guide Theodore (Teddy) is amazing. He also passed us off to an expert guide for the Acropolis, who was knowledgeable and accommodating for my senior age mother. We also had a short walking tour of important buildings in Athens and even arrived perfectly on time to witness the changing of the guard! Again, our guide Teddy arranged the perfect viewing spot for my mother. We then continued on to the Temple of Poseidon for beautiful golden hour sunset photos. Also along the way, our guide stopped for us to take photos at instagram worthy photo spots. Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations. Teddy even provided water and biscuits (cookies) for a snack!
