What To Expect

Celebrate with some of Barcelona’s best food, drinks and entertainment during this combined 3-hour tapas crawl and flamenco show with a small group of no more than 20 guests. It’s a great way to taste the amazing culinary culture and raucous party atmosphere of this unique capital of Catalonia.

Meet your guide in central Barcelona near the Palau de la Musica in the evening. You’ll proceed on a relaxed walk through the city to the Eixample neighborhood to make your first tapas stop of the evening at a sleek modernist-style bar. Enjoy plates of some of Barcelona’s most iconic tapas dishes, including patates braves (potatoes cooked in oil with chili, aioli and red pepper), and pa amb tomàquet (bread covered with a tasty mix of tomatoes and olive oil). Observe the chef as they freshly prepare your plate before your eyes, then enjoy this mouth-watering dish with a drink as you feast on the stories of Catalan food culture shared by your guide.

Proceed on foot to your second tapas stop of the evening, listening as your guide shares more insights into the development Barcelona’s food scene, culture and history as you walk. Stop number two is a much-loved neighborhood ham store in the El Born area. Check out the savory legs of jamón serrano (Serrano ham) dangling in the windows before heading inside to taste a choice selection of the shop’s best cheeses (like Manchego) along with its top-notch meats, cured from pigs fed a diet of oil-rich acorns.

Continue walking through El Born, meandering past the old Roman walls and the Barcelona Cathedral (Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Santa Eulalia) as you make your way to the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter and to the Plaça Reial. This busy nocturnal gathering spot is also the site of your evening’s flamenco performance, hosted in one of the city’s oldest flamenco venues.

Enjoy a glass of cava (sparkling wine) before locating your seat for the show, featuring all the best elements of a traditional flamenco performance with singing, fluid dancing and Spanish guitars. Have some sangria and some plates of gourmet tapas as the dancers captivate you with their incredible flamenco moves.

End your evening at the conclusion of the show, though you’re free to continue the fun at the venue’s roof terrace or in its stylish bar, where you can purchase more drinks if you wish.

A lot of walking
Barbara_G, Oct 2023
The background information provided by the guide , but the dancing was boring and the seats were uncomfortable. I would have liked to go to at least one more restaurant.
Tapas and flamenco dance
Gerald_B, Oct 2023
We all loved this tour. We walked around town and our guide explained how history placed a part in what we were seeing now. The tapas places were great with good food. We enjoyed the other folks on our group. The flamenco dance is a must.
Evening of Great food, entertainment & exploring
Sharon_B, Sep 2023
Great walking tour exploring the old town & gothic quarter during the evening. Flamenco show was very good then we ate at two different tapas restaurants which were both excellent. Great guide too.
Flamenco evening delight
Robert_W, Sep 2023
Daniel provided a most meaningful and enjoyable evening. We learned much about the Gothic section, the history of Barcelona, as well as La Rambla. The best part, however, was the tapas and wine at a couple of tapas restaurants, following the enjoyable Flamenco dancers. His knowledge of the culture was superb. I wholeheartedly recommend this experiential tour.
Flamenco, Food, and Fun in Barcelona!
Ralph_J, Aug 2023
This was a great experience! We went on Our first night in Spain, and it was just the right balance between walking, entertainment, and delicious food after traveling in from the US. Our guide Daniel was fantastic, and the flamenco and food were amazing. Would definitely recommend this tour!!
local knowledge on tapas and flamenco
Dani_F, Jul 2023
This was a fun tour, flamenco was good, but the walking tour and tapas was nice also. A good way to meet people and try quality restaurants you might not otherwise know about. Daniel was a friendly and engaging guide.
Tapas & flamenco
Jacquie_A, Jul 2023
It was a great way to get our bearings of the gothic quarter starting with a moving flamenco show and an abundance of tapas.
Wonderful. Memorable. Delicious
Jim_J, May 2023
The knowledge that Daniel had of the city and country was amazing and interesting. We had a great time exploring the Gothic Quarter and had a wonderful experience. Great start with flamenco and even better finish with tapas and conversation
Good show, better tapas
Kelly_F, May 2023
The location meeting point was vague and our tour guide was a little late so we were initially concerned about being in the wrong spot. Despite that, it was a fun tour. The tapas restaurants were so good, we went back! We enjoyed all the information he provided too. The Flamenco show was fun, but hard to see from the back.

Sharon_R, Apr 2023
Daniel was a terrific guide and made sure everyone had a wonderful experience. The tapas were excellent.
Excellent guide, food, and introduction to Flamenco
David_C, Apr 2023
Our guide was excellent—personable and informative. He was also quite helpful to a part of our group that was having transportation issues, which worked out very well for them. As we walked between the flamenco show and the two tapas restaurants he frequently stopped to point out places of interest. The show was a very good performance. The restaurants had very good food and service, with a variety of items that showed how the tapas could vary between different restaurants.
Awesome night!
Abiel_G, Jan 2023
We had an amazing time. The tapas and flamenco show were both phenomenal. Our guide, Gloria, was very attentive and informative. She knows her history of Barcelona and we left having a better understanding for the culture. She also helped plan the rest of trip for the following days. Great experience! Thank you Gloria!
A must do item in the list
Dominic_D, Oct 2022
An exceptional guide and an even more exceptional experience. Thank you Gloria (our experienced walkie talkie encyclopaedia :)) Also thank you for remembering that I am allergic to all sea food and ensuring that I was provided a meat and vegetarian option at all times during the tapas.
The true flavor of Barcelona
Deborah_B, Sep 2022
The flamenco dancers were very good and the two tapa’s tastings were the highlight. Our guide made the event special. I recommend to meet at flamenco show rather than the excursion office!! Because we were late to show stoping for photos on the way. Also the website needs to be updated to indicate the show is first then the tapas after.
Fun night Great Food Cool Guide
Joe_T, Jun 2022
Sergio was a great guide - knowledgeable educated & fun. The spots he took us to were cool, we wouldn’t have found them ourselves. We struggled to get a cab so we’re running late. The tour organiser phoned me & patiently guided us & our taxi driver to the right spot to catch up with the group. Wonderful caring & helpful
Great intro to all that Barcelona has to offer!
Lawrence_T, Jun 2022
The group was small and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The food and drink were a great first intro into all that Barcelona has to offer. My favorite part was drinking from the Perron and making your own Timoteo bread! The flamenco show was the perfect way to break up the night.
Flamenco and Tapas
Jennifer_B, May 2022
Great evening as an alternative to a restaurant. The guide was great and knowledgeable. The show and tapas was great! This tour takes about 2 1/2 hours. .
Flamenco, food and history - A great Barcelona evening!
Lisa_C, Apr 2022
This was a wonderful way to spend an evening in Barcelona! The Flamenco show was great (and not too long) and then the walking tour and tapas afterwards were a fantastic experience. Our guide, Gloria, was an amazing wealth of information on the history of Flamenco and the history of the city - she made it all come alive and our children, ages 11 and 13 loved her (so did we!) We highly recommend this tour!
Highly recommended
James_W, Oct 2021
