This is a great tour if you want to see a lot of things in one day. We planned late, so this tour gave us most of Barcelona's highlights. Our guide (Miguel) was friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. Our tour only had 4 people (2 groups) so our guide was able to let us linger a little longer in most places bc he didn't have to round up a large group. Highly recommend this tour.

The whole day was exceptional. Miguel was an extremely informative guide. He was welcoming from the minute we met and throughout the day ensured we alright, from comfort breaks to refreshments. He made the Gaudi experience that much better with his explanations of everything. Cannot fault anything with the day.

Relaxed and full day of Gaudi and the Gothic Quarter

What a wonderful day we had with Miguel touring Barcelona! This tour is a full day, but doesn’t feel rushed. We started early with a relaxed and thorough tour of the Gothic Quarter, where we got to experience the area before the crowds turned up (which was amazing for photos and to soak in the charming atmosphere). After great coffee at a local cafe overlooking the Del Mar cathedral, we proceeded to the jaw dropping Sagrada Familia, gorgeous Park Guell and amazing Pedrara. En route we stopped for a delicious local lunch of jamon Iberico. Miguel was warm and so knowledgeable, and the tour felt both extremely thorough and also well paced (not hectic at all but we felt we saw SO MUCH!!). Our teenagers loved it as well. highly recommend Miguel and this tour - a very, very comprehensive and thoughtful look at the Gothic Quarter as well as 3 of the 4 “most important” Gaudi sites in the city.

A Fantastic Day awaits

Our guide was so knowledgeable and so friendly and outgoing it was like our neighbor was taking us around Barcelona showing us the things we never saw because we were focused on 'real life'. Miguel brought the city to life for us. Starting with the Gothic quarter and down to the sea then up the mountain to Montjuic and back down again to the octagonal blocks of the Diagonal. Taking us to the Famila Sagrada, he pointed out the details, large and small, that without him we might never have noticed on our own. Taking us to lunch afterwards, our small group enjoyed world-famous Iberian Jamon (ham) on less famous but still mucho deliciouso tomato bread. Back in our air-conditioned van, we arrived at Park Guell and were lucky to have our skip-the-line credentials in place: it was sold-out! After Famila Sagrada and Park Guell, our final stop at La Pedrera was almost anticlimactic. What a fantastic day (well 6 1/2 hours anyway. I can't recommend this tour any higher. Don't miss it!

We found this tour to have too much wasted time for the price paid. Unfortunately for us there was a family that occupied alot of time taking their pictures and asking the guide to photograph them. We had a waste of 30 minutes for a coffee break . Lunch was not good- they ran out of vegetarian options and offered us ham. Nothing else! We wasted 25 minutes waiting for the family to meet the group. The guide had no control - so the rest of the group waited around doing nothing

Miguel was our tour guide and he was amazing! First, there were a total two couple, including me, which made it great as we were really able to enjoy it and be close enough to hear what our tour guide, Miguel, was saying. He was very informative and every question asked he had an answer to. Definitely would recommend and definitely do it again.

This tour way exceeded our expectations. Miguel was beyond amazing….kind, engaging and super fun. He did everything in his power to make sure everyone had a great experience. I can’t recommend this tour enough. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
Headphones and Bluetooth would have made this experience much better

The genius of Gaudi. The tour would have been much better if Bluetooth headphones were used and available. Good questions were asked by the group while walking And not heard except those who were walking immediately adjacent to the tour guide

Fantastic tour If you want to know Barcelona this is the tour you need to take. Our tour guide Miguel was fabulous, professional, and very knowledgable of the city of Barcelona. The tour is well structured and all the tickets are purchased in advance so you don’t need to wait in any line since you are in a private tour and have more time to enjoy the city. Miguel will point out all relevant facts of the places you visit. He is very funny and amicable. He knows the city very well. The tour consists of a walk in the old town including the Gothic quarter, having a light breakfast in front of one of the medieval churches in the old town, then a car tour with highlights of places that you would miss if you went exploring your own. The tour then continues with the Gaudi creations including the houses and park. Before the highlight of the tour you will stop after the park you will stop for jamón ibérico (ibérico ham), sangria or your favorite beverage and then you will enter to paradise in a surreal world of Gaudi creation still under construction La Sagrada Familia that is a joy of science, faith and architecture marvel from the creation of the mind of a very religious man, Mr Gaudi. Before heaven most likely every soul on earth should ustop at La Sagrada Familia.

Barcelona has long been one of my favorite European cities. This tour allowed me to show my family, who had never been to Europe, Barcelona’s greatest highlights. Our guide, Miguel, was just incredible. He tailored his presentation to my family which is still singing his praises.

This trip was AMAZING! 8 hours of pure enjoyment with Miguel from We Are Guides Barcelona on what essentially became a private tour because no one else signed up for this one. The first half of the day was a tour of the old city with history and culture from Roman times thru the 18th Century. We had amazing coffee mid morning with views of the church Santa Maria del Mar. Then it was off to Sagrada Familia...there is nothing you can say about that place...just go see it! And take Miguel because his passion for all thing Gaudi (especially Sagrada Familia) was truly awe inspiring. After the tour we went for lunch at a lovely little local restaurant with a fantastic Menu Del Dia! Then it was a short taxi ride up to Parc Guell! Again amazing with fantastic views and Miguel's great knowledge made it all the better. Our final stop was LA Pedrera or Casa Mila as it is officially known. That place never disappoints beautiful views and crazy amazing architecture. Miguel was the perfect host for his adopted city of Barcelona! This was a truly memorable day!
