A terrific day in Barcelona!

Manuel was terrific. He was very informative and knowledgeable. Sagrada Familia was a major highlight but we also enjoyed the walking tour through the Born district, Park Guell and the in between stops as welll. A great and efficient way to spend a day in Barcelona!

Our guide Miguel was excellent and highly knowledgeable plus he organized the day very well. It was a private tour for 11 of us so we had a flexible itinerary. The Sagrada Familia is obviously one of the modern wonders of the world and has to be on everyone’s bucket list, even non religious visitors can’t help to be in awe of it. The Park Güell is a unique experience and a fascinating example of Gaudi’s vision. Miguel took us through the Gothic Quarter and gave great explanations of the highlights without overwhelming with excessive information. It’s surprising that many buildings had their facades rebuilt in the “Neo-Gothic” style in the 1920’s, Miguel’s photo album admirably showed the differences. The day was completed with a drive up the mountain for a view over the city.

Daniella made the whole experience memorable. She is a great story teller and took us through a journey of past and present Barcelona. We did a walking tour of the old city and then she drove us up to Montjuic to show us an aerial view of the city, arranged a wonderful authentic Catalan lunch for us and also showed us Park Guell. I whole heartedly recommend her as a guide and all around interesting person to see the city with. Thank you.

Our guide David, picked us up from the hotel and took us to various parts of Barcelona including the Gothic Quarter, El Born, and showed us great views on Montjuic. David is very knowledgeable about the art and architecture of Barcelona. He took us to tour La Sagrada Familia and park Güell. La Sagrada Familia was incredible! David also recommended places to eat near our hotel and places to get nice quality souvenirs. He even took us back to one of the shops that I wanted more time at, after our tour was over. Overall it was a lovely day!

Our guide Daniela was amazing. She was very thoughtful regarding my limitations given my disability and need for a walker. When she realized how easily I tire, she suggested alternative schedules to assist us. She was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. She was so friendly and personable. For our lunch stop, she suggested several different possibilities and we chose the gluten free pizza restaurant (“Messies”) which was extremely tasty! Daniela organized the different stops to accommodate my mobility e.g. entering at the top of Parc Guell and then meeting my husband and I at the bottom so that we were always travelling downhill. She explained what to look for before we entered. Daniela asked the Parc for a map but it was almost illegible and in Spanish. I would STRONGLY suggest that Viator provide a good map to the guides for their clients

There was a marathon being run in Barcelona with many streets closed the morning of our tour. Tatiana did a wonderful job making sure that we saw everything and more including a tapas lunch. We had a great day. I would highly recommend this tour!

Daniela our private driver and tour operator was the best! She took care of everything for us. Totally VIP experience. Showed us all the local spots to eat and watch shows.we went to the sagrada familia a beautiful church ⛪️ and many other places. She made sure we saw all the beautiful sites and took so many pictures 📸 also she had no problem stopping for bathroom breaks and all the shops I wanted to go to. If you get Daniela you will be I'm good hands.

Guide was great, but: After waiting an hour with no guide, we called her number and were told she was on another tour and did not have us scheduled. A replacement guide was assigned . He was excellent. Was told this tour would last 3 hours but actually scheduled for all day. As I said, the guide was good but for the price spent, not worth the $$$.

We got a good overview of Barcelona but we were a bit disappointed in a couple of things. We expected a private tour vehicle to be a bit better and hotel pickup was a couple of blocks away. Though we understand the city driving might have required a smaller vehicle, it was not ideal.
