This tour could easily be fixed

Our guide was great, so no offense to him. Whoever is making decisions, needs to address. First, the two tapas locations were trash and I wouldn't recommend to anyone. My wife got sick from the seafood that was sitting on the counter at room temperature. She should know better, but no excuse. The second place was empty for a reason. Last, the Flamenco show was nice, but why stick us in the back row, when three rows in front of us were empty? I could feel the cost savings throughout the night. The sick wife ruined the next couple days of our 30k vacation that I irresponsibly charged to my AMEX!

Han, the guide, was excellent. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. The tapas food was excellent and varied. The Flemenco Show was an hour long and well worth seeing.

Ok tour but needs improvement

Mirco was a great tour guide. He gave us a walking tour around the Gothic area and Born. He did a good job of doing explaining the history and telling us stories.. The tapas tour was not great. We went to one tapas place and the tapas were cold. Flys near the tapas. The next place had hot tapas that were mediocre. The location was hott inside and uncomfortable. The flamenco dance was entertaining, but they didn’t explain the story or what they were singing about. Was it a love story?

Decent tapas and flamenco experience

Our guide was great. I was a little underwhelmed with the number of places we ate (two). The food was good but there wasn’t a lot of history to go along with eating the food. The flamenco show was great though we had the cheaper seats further away, and even though there was available seating closer, they wouldn’t let us move. Might do better to just do your research and visit the restaurants on your own and buy your own tickets to the flamenco show

Mirco was so inspring as we got our first taste of this beautiful city. Great choices for wine and Tapas and the Flamemco show was great. Be sure to have their house sangria at the show. Gracias Mirco for starting our visit off right.

This tour was literally a booking service; the tour operator booked us in for tapas, dinner and a flamenco show. We could have done it ourselves. The secret sauce for this tour would have been the tour guide’s commentary on Barcelona’s history and areas however this was unfortunately lacking. Save your money and book with a different operator who values quality tour guides. This tour was not worth the money sadly.

A truly fantastic tour with an extremely knowledgeable and highly personable guide. The balance of walking and stopping for food and drinks was perfect. The food was exceptional and choice of venues amazing! The flamenco show was a sight to behold and in a beautiful old palace. We cannot fault this tour or our guide and will certainly book for similar trips again.

It was a casual tour with about 12 people. Walked through the more interesting neighborhoods of El Born and The Gothic Quarter and Barceloneta. The Flamingo show was very nice and a good cap to the evening.

Without a doubt, the best thing about the tour was our guide Faqu. He was very friendly and informative, with quite an interesting past as an executive chef at a Michelin-started restaurant at the age of 37. We actually walked around the same neighborhood earlier in the day, and it was so much more interesting with Faqu guiding and informing us. The tapas and snacks were at local places and very good, and a free drink was provided at each location. The flamenco show was a let down. As others mentioned, the seats are reserved in the very last row, and the act is a bit tired. But it was interesting and a nice break for the 20-30 minutes we stayed. Overall, I highly recommend the expiration for the tour of the Born district and some tasty snacks.

Not a Tapas Tour it’s a City Tour

This was our first experience in Barcelona and sadly was not what we were expecting. If you are wanting an informational tour about tapas or the cuisine in Barcelona then this is not it. The majority of our tour was walking around which did provide some decent information but our guide Oscar always made a scrunched up face every time I asked a question lol. You walk for 45 minutes before you even get to your first food experience, which we were only able to get two pinxhos, which he didn’t even explain what we were eating which would’ve been helpful then you walk another 45 minutes then finally get some tapas. One of the tapas had hair wrapped around it smh. He didn’t really explain what we were eating either just ordered us a bunch of plates. You get some good sangria/drinks which was definitely a highlight but don’t come starving like I did because you won’t be fed right away. The flamenco show was amazing though! Don’t expect a tour about the food but more about the city and they feed you at the end.

Our tour guide Liana was excellent, great personality, super knowledgeable and told us so much about the city, the architecture, and the history. The meeting place is incredibly difficult to find and they need to change it. We started very late because no one could find it and our tour guide had to come find us at different locations. They are very generous with the food and drinks, but unfortunately they don’t tell you what you’re eating, there are no options for people who cannot eat, or do not like, seafood in particular. One restaurant had a buffet of appetizers but we had no idea what they were and they didn’t describe to us. But if you’re looking to eat drink and get an education on Barcelona altogether, this is a great way to do it.

The meeting point is VERY difficult to find so give yourself extra time. Our guide had only done this for a month but was very friendly, patient and informative. This is a good starting point to get your feet wet in the historic district. The flamenco show was a huge disappointment. Our groups seats were all in the back of this small theatre and we found the show dragged on and didn’t live up to the reviews we read. All in all this was an good tour and poor show.

Great dance! Great tapas! Great tour! The only thing that I would have like a bit more is a bit more descriptions of the old town. It was kind of rushed to get to the tapas and dances.
