We work daily with different low-production, family-owned boutique wineries. Due to logistic reasons, you might visit another cellar instead of Ca n'Estella or Oller del Mas.

This tour was one of our favorite parts of the trip! Having the private tour pick us up and drop us off at our location made things super easy. Our tour guide Jon was the absolute best. Not only was he very accommodating but he was very friendly and knowledgeable of the history and the wineries. We enjoyed having him with us for the day to talk with. We never felt rushed at either of the wineries and were able to get the most out of the experience. Highly recommend

Worth every single dollar! If you are visiting Barcelona this tour is a must! Go outside the city - see the mountains of Montserrat and drink the superb wines of Badges and the excellent cavas of Penedes!

Amazing day worth the trip

Awesome day. Javier picked us up promptly at 10 at our Airbnb. He told us about the city on our 50 minute drive to the first winery - clot dels oms. He took us on a tour of the winery and told us the history. So interesting. We sampled 4 wines/cavas. The women who worked there are so passionate. You can tell they love what they do and their heart is in it. We bought wines to ship back to USA. We also had lovely cheeses and meats with bread. It was a lovely experience. Then we travelled about another hour or so to the next winery. Oller del mas. Again Javier gave us a tour and we had a private tasting room. It was very interesting and lovely. The grapes used at this vineyard were not our favorite and so we didn’t buy any wines here but it was nice to have such a variety throughout the day. Javier then drove us home passing the capital of the region and pointing out interesting sites along the way. It was an awesome day and Javier made it truly special. It was a great day.

If I could give Marcel and this experience ten stars, I would! This private tour of two exceptional vineyards (and delicious tapas lunch!) was the highlight of our two weeks in Spain. Just enough education and space to be with my family. Communication was also excellent before and after. Just AWESOME.

Nice tour to two small wineries producing different styles of wine (cava and still). Carol, our guide, was very knowledgeable about wine and the Spanish wine industry. We had just the right amount of wines to taste - three cavas and four stills. The only negative were the tapas at the cava winery - they are winemakers, not chefs. Really very good for a half day tour.

Clara our guide was very good, knowledgeable and funny. She took us to 2 wineries located in beautiful locations, the best is that they were small wineries not the super huge famous ones. One of them is an organinc winery with a long history and a castle, we tasted wines and had tapas then to the second one and we drove thru the Monserrat Mountains so beautiful. On the second winery we tasted Cava, very good too. It was a great tour and the best way to spend an afternoon.

The tour was extremely enjoyable. It was within a reasonable travelling time from the city so not too much time was spent travelling to and from, the buses were comfortable, and the the Cava & wine tastings and tapas lunch were great. The tour guide, Albert, made the tour. He was personable, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the City of Barcelona, Penedes and Pla de Bages. . His enthusiasm for the Cava & wine regions rubbed off on us taking the tour.
