Elisa was an excellent guide! Nice slow pace through several neighborhoods allowing us to get a feel for the area.. Great history provided. Nice lunch stop at a market. This was at our own cost and well worth it. Overall the bike tour was the highlight of my trip to Barcelona!

Perfect overview of the city -- Do this on your first day in Barcelona!

This was a perfect way to quickly understand the different neighborhoods in Barcelona. Ideally, you would do this tour on your first day in the city, and then spend some time walking around each neighborhood during the rest of your vacation. Our tour guide, Elisa, was wonderful -- super friendly, a wealth of great information, and just an overall very likeable person. Having the chance to chat with her about the city and life in Spain was both fun and educational. The tour was 4 hours of biking but didn't feel like a lot of work. Barcelona is very flat and we rode at a relaxed pace, stopping frequently to learn about the neighborhoods and landmarks. We even had the chance to stop at a Boqueria market in Born (better, actually, than the one near Las Ramblas) and have a quick lunch. That was a really cool experience in of itself. After having gone on this tour, we then knew how to spend the rest of our time in Barcelona most effectively -- what places we wanted to visit, where to find the best shopping, places to eat, etc. Elisa even provided us with a google maps list of all her recommended restaurants, bars, and tapas stops. We could then refer to this to find the closest recommendation at any point in the city; an invaluable resource when you are walking around the city and need to find a place to eat or have a drink!

Ok tour, nothing exceptional

This was an average tour. The bikes were not in great shape: two of our three repeatedly slipped the chain and required fixing along the tour. The guide was decent, shared facts about the places we visited. Nothing so exceptional as the description suggested. This was our fourth bike tour in 3 weeks traveling across Spain, and we agreed it was the least memorable. Ultimately felt like we missed out on the city highlights while not seeing anything exceptional.

Our tour guide was really fun and made this experience unique to us. I came with my architecture student friends so we had a group to ourselves and we expressed interest in the Barcelona architecture and he geared our tour towards that. We even had extra time that he showed us his favorite horchata shop and we stopped for a bite. A great way to see the city outside of the typical tourist stops!
