Really nice bunch of people and so helpful. I was a little worried when I went initially as I was the only one in the class but it was great fun and Pilu was wonderful.

Fun class, not only learning to make the shoes but also the history. It was a chance to be creative and make a custom souvenir. My teenage daughter and I loved it!

A fun and interactive experience! Informative, creative, Cava included. You can choose the kind of shoe, platforms cost are additionally, but flat ones have more colours to chose from. Its a fun way to start a day in the gothic district. Totally worth it.

Mafer was an amazing guide and teacher through this experience. She was attentive, funny, and really added to the history of the espadrilles and how to make them now. This was a throughly fun experience and you come away with an authentic, personalised, shoe!

We enjoyed everything about this charming little shoe store. The young ladies who led our class were energetic and well organized, shared fun history of this type of shoe, taught us how and when to wear them. The tapas were simple snacks of crackers, sausage, nuts, chocolate, served with cava, juice, water - very tasty and still practical while you create your shoes.

Pamé was fantastic at leading me through creating my customized espadrilles. Since I was the only one registered that morning, I had a private workshop. She was patient in showing me how best to wield the needle and lace each espadrille (espadeña!). I love how elegant they look, and can't wait to try this on my own with the extra pair that I purchased to bring home. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone travelling to Barcelona, looking for a unique souvenir of their trip. I told everyone about this on my recent cruise when I wore these beautiful espadeñas for evening chic night.

Oh my gosh! This was the most fun in 2 hours I've had in a long time. The girls were so nice, energetic and enthusiastic. They were so helpful and patient with my never ending need for help. When I come back to Barcelona, I WILL be signing up for this one again!

Luis, Kathe & Pilu were wonderful! Luis has so much energy and enthusiasm and Kathe easily matched him! It would be very difficult to NOt have fun! I was lucky enough to be a part of a women in business retreat and this was one of the activities! So many options, the history of the shoes and the process was great! In the end you get a pair of authentic Catalan shoes!

Our hosts were terrific and made our experience memorable- what a great team. It was good to learn about the history of the espadrille. The only thing missing was Tapas as stated in the publicity.
