A very thorough journey among the sites of the American landings on DDay, as well as the American and German military cemeteries. Francis, our guide, paced the tour very well -as there is so much to cover- giving us very detailed information on each site, as well as a general understanding of the whole operation Overlord. I would definetely recommend this experience.

D-Day history for all teens on up!

Wonderful tour with the flexibility to see what was most important to our family. Both my teen kids thought the tour was the highlight of our trip to Europe. My son and father are war history buffs and soaked up everything Emanuel had to share. This tour is great for teens, in-betweens and grandparents. There is walking, but it isn't overwhelming.

Only way to see the DDay in a day.

Victor had enthusiasm and knowledge which made this tour well worth it. We stopped at all of the locations that were on my list and it was a perfect fit. We took the 6:12am train from Paris (St Lazare) and arrived at the Bayeux station around 8:45am. We went across the road to a small cafe attached to a hotel and had a coffee and croissant, then Victor picked us up at the taxi stand alongside the station at 9:30am. After seeing the sights we made it back for our return train to Paris at 6:11pm. It all worked out perfect. Definitely recommend!

A very long day

The weather didn’t cooperate fully which was no one’s fault. However, in these circumstances we should not be out stranding in the middle of Utah beach in a freezing, driving rain. Our was very nice even if determined to conduct the tour regardless of conditions. Also, there were occasions when we were given way too much free time, lunch was over two hours, there was another 45 minute break. Personally I would rather have shorter break times and get to my hotel sooner.

Our tour guide JB gave us a fantastic tour of Omaha and Utah Beaches, as well as Point du Hoc and the Airborne museum at St Mere Eglise , plus a few other stops. JB was extremely willing to share his extensive knowledge of the Normandy invasion, as well as general knowledge about the Normandy countryside. He was very willing to answer all questions, and we had some time at each stop to explore some on our own. The 8-9 hour tour went very quickly and was very enjoyable - I would highly recommend it!
