Omaha and Utah beaches tour
David_D, May 2024
The church where the two medics cared for the 80 Allied and German soldiers. Our guide Adam was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and interesting to talk to.
Fantastic Tour

Amazing Day with Stephen (Overlord) on Omaha and Utah Beaches.
Rachel_C, Apr 2024
We had a fabulous trip with Stephen from Overload Tours. Stephen brought this time in history to life and added lots of stories to help us all understand the context and the challenges of the time. He was able to answer all sorts of random questions and elaborated on topics in response to the personal/family histories of several on the tour related to D-Day. We were able to see several examples of these stories including visiting farms where some took of these events actually took place. It was very powerful and memorable. Overall, this was one of the best tours we have taken and much of this was a credit to our guide and the experience of Overlord operations. Would highly recommend!
A Fantastic Tour

Our guide - Ben - was fantastic, giving us both the right level of detail and time to explore and reflect. We had an amazing day, learned a lot and visited some off the beaten track memorials. Overlord Tours were brilliant throughout.
Amazing D-Day Tour from Overlord Tours!
Sohail_R, Apr 2024
We had a wonderful tour with Theo as our guide. This was a thoroughly enjoyable day visiting the sites at the American Landing Beaches, Pointe Du Hoc and Sainte Mere Eglise among other spots. The full day tour started on time (actually a few minutes early as everyone was in the van and ready to go!) Theo was informative and interesting. He had maps and photos that he used at our various stops to enhance our understanding of what happened at each spot. The weather was not cooperative (cold with on and off rain - but it was March) and Theo made sure that we still saw the sights, heard the stories and enjoyed ourselves. I can't say enough about this wonderful tour! We have only been home a few days, and I have already recommended this company and tour to friends thinking of visiting Normandy! Thank you Theo!
Amazing history of the Beaches

Ben did an amazing job sharing the history of Normandy and the Beaches. He was informative and funny!
Decent tour
Alisdair_W, Oct 2023
Tour covered a lot of locations and was good, although the airborne museum time allowance is very generous compared to the museum size, I suspect driven by difficulty in getting food on busier times of year. Guide knew his stuff, couldn’t really fault him. Overlord seem to be dominant company in Bayeaux based tours.
Fascinating tour of US D-Day experience
Geoff_G, Oct 2023
Having a true military historian as guide was a bonus - very knowledgeable, and took some joy in dismembering several so-called ‘facts’
Amazing!

This is my second tour with Overlord Tours, and it was even better than I remembered! Interesting, moving and amazing.
Very worthwhile tour

Excellent tour. Excellent guide. Tour went beyond my expectations. Fredric, our guide, did a great job. He explained everything that we saw on the tour. He also took us to smaller places that had significant impact on the success of the invasion. His explanations were very thorough. We could not have had a better guide.
Very knowledgeable
Paul_D, Sep 2023
Antoine was extremely knowledgeable about the context of the invasion and the specific. He had some great stories that lent individual detail. There was never a moment that was not used for him to discuss the landings.
A trip with a lasting impression
Albert_B, Sep 2023
Our guy, Antoine, was superb. If one is a taking a tour, Antoine is guide. He humanizes the experience which enables one to relate to the events of 1944. It is a trip that the younger generation needs to take in order to appreciate the sacrifices.—and Antoine is the one to elicit that understanding from them.
DDay Family Tour
Andrew_m, Jun 2023
Guillaume was a fantastic guide. He took us to all the key spots and had a wonderful book with maps and photos that coincided with his tour. Our final stop in Agonville at the church was a very great story about two medics at hat just happened to pick a church named after two Turkish Saints that were also medics in their day. Both my husband and 2 son in laws are very interested in WWII history so the cat was very well spent.
It was great!!
chris_c, May 2023
This was the absolute best tour of our trip so far. It gave us a good overview of D day ! Charles was an amazing guide in that his knowledge of history and events were so in depth!!
A must see tour !!!!!!
Jason_S, Apr 2023
This was truly one of my favorite tours I have ever taken . Our guide was amazing. He was full of information and was excited to share it . If you are interested in history and WW2 this tour will leave you speechless. If I could give it 10 stars I would.
Band of Brothers fans - this one is for you !
James_C, Oct 2022
Yannick presented inspiring stories of self sacrifice, courage and bold action in the face of danger. One could easily see his deep knowledge and strong passion for it all. Much of the tour followed Easy Company from the Band of Brothers series. I was especially impressed with the private access we had to actual actual battle sites like Brecourt Manor. My personal favorite - a story I had never heard before about Bob Wright and Ken Moore, two young US medics and their heroic actions at Angoville au Plain church during the days after D-Day. I am so glad that I got to experience this amazing full day tour. The highlight in our two week trip in France.
Fantastic Tour!
Joey_L, Oct 2022
This was a really incredible tour; highly recommended. Our tour guide Thiery was excellent, friendly, and very knowledgeable about every location we visited.
Janic was such a great...
Neil_D, Oct 2022
Janic was such a great guide! He was skilled at conveying the emotional weight of D-Day sacrifices, and I felt like he gave us an honest account of what happened to both soldiers and civilians.
Our guide, Yanek, told...
James_M, Aug 2022
Our guide, Yanek, told memorable stories about the soldiers experiences at each location. Seeing the casements, the beaches, the roads brought to life what we had seen in movies. The American Cemetery was humbling and beautiful spot as it should be for those entombed there.
