No need to check on others. This is the one.
All we can say about Sea Paradise is it's awesome. We had a big party of 12 family members and friends and everyone was so satisfied. In general, the sailing, service, and experience were all exceptional. The girls were friendly, caring, and knowledgeful. I was impressed of not only the smooth ride and instruction for sailing and snorkeling, but also the story telling and cultural appreciation. Of course you can look it up online about the story of the "Captain Cook Monument" and the sacred rituals of the native residents, but hearing the story and being part of the ritual make it much more than a snorkeling ride. They did it very well.
Also a story of lost-and-found: after getting back to our vacation rental, I realized that I left my sunglasses on board which are my birthday gift and mean a lot to me. I called them at around in the evening, without hoping that I could get them back. Sometime you lose things, and sorry the lost-and-found is not a guarantee, especially when it comes to something that looks somewhat valuable, and there is nothing you could do if they just tell you "nope we didn't see anything sorry." The girl who picked up the call was a crew member and immediately acknowledged the finding of the sunglasses. In fact--which at the time of the call I did not know--they had already sent an email to us about the lost sunglasses. Since we had to head back to California the following day, I weren't able to pick them up so they offered to ship them to me later. They shipped the sunglasses on Monday and I got them on Wednesday. The sunglasses were well packed and they even put them in a blue silky gift bag. Not only I appreciated so much their honesty and willingness to help, but also more their caring.
Story over, now standard items:
- Tour guide: 5/5. As mentioned above, all instructions of safety, ride, snacks and drinks, snorkeling, protection of corrals, and culture elaborations are so clear and well organized.
- Pickup details: 5/5. Check-in and parking instructions are clear and easy to follow.
- Waiting time: 5/5. Very reasonable thanks to everything being very organized.
- Value for money: 5/5. One good thing is they do give you sufficient time to snorkel there. Most people went back to the boat themselves after having a great enough time. Snacks and non-alcohol beverages are included and there are a lot. Again, the culture elaboration is a plus and is outstanding among all sail rides I have been on.
- What I loved: In addition to all good things above, I have to note that Sea Paradise has the best detail management among all such sailings I have had. E.g. 1, before boarding, they will collect your shoes and slippers and secure them in boxes off board to provide a better walking and sitting experience for everyone. After the ride, they have put everyone's shoes along the boarding bridge. E.g. 2, at the snorkeling site, before you go into the water, they will help check your mask's tightness and make sure the straw works and goggles are fog resistant.
- Tips for travelers: As you know, you will need to bring your own towels. Try to bring more unique ones, especially if the ones from your hotel or vacation rental are not. Due to limited storage space on board, you will put your belongings with others' in the center console. Some got confused at disembarking about which towels were theirs / whether those in hand were theirs.
Also make sure to book early! We were also very interested in the Manta Ray Night Snorkeling but unfortunately when we decided to go, they were sold out for our last night on the island. It would be so nice to ride with them for that adventure. We had to turn to a different company for the Manta Ray. It was good but in no way a perfect experience as with Sea Paradise. If we had the option, we would definitely stick with Sea Paradise and we will absolutely come back.
