Incredible Tour
Patrick_C, Feb 2024
Bob, an exceptional tour guide, highlighted hidden gems that locals often overlook and led us to off-the-beaten-path spots. His extensive knowledge of history added to the experience. Definitely a must-repeat activity.
Good historical information, good food and good company!
Andrea_h, Nov 2023
Our guide Trey did an outstanding job. He was knowledgeable and fun. We learned a lot and tasted many different kinds of Italian foods.
Food, fun and history

The tour was an absolute pleasure. Despite the anticipated length of 5 hrs, which seemed like a very long commitment, in the end we slightly exceeded it and could have probably gone on for a little longer. Our tour guide, Alex was engaging, humorous and very knowledgeable. The places we ate at along the North End portion of the tour were fabulous and very filling. I don't think we could have eaten another bite. Once we had out fill, we toured through some of Boston's most well-known historical sights. Alex made them come alive with stories in great detail, and a focus of how ironic history can be (take the tour with Alex and you'll understand). The little break just before we finished, at the pub, gave us a second wind and a chance to solidify some friendships made during the course of the day with our fellow explorers. I highly recommend this tour and make sure to request Alex, as he was the glue that made it all come together and made it a very memorable experience
Best guide in all weather conditions

Our guide was Larry and he was great. The experience was just perfect he made everything flow nicely and we had a very nice small group of people too. Everyone there was very happy with Larry and we had a very nice day in Boston. I hope to return soon.

Our First Taste of Boston (literally)
Michelle_L, Aug 2023
This was our first time visiting Boston and this was our very first experience in the city. We had such a wonderful time with our enthusiastic and gracious guide, Molly!! She really was a wonderful storyteller of Boston’s incredible history. She also guided us to some delicious Boston eateries. Our family’s favorite was absolutely the cappuccino and cannoli stop!! (I’ve never really liked cannolis until today) What a treat!! You will not want to miss this fun Boston tour! You will not be disappointed!
Great

Dylan, the tour guide was really informative & even customized the tour, which made it even more enjoyable! The food was also pretty good, and I even got to try a restaurant suggested by Dylan, which was also fantastic.
Worth It!
Donia_L, Jun 2023
Alex, our guide was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable about Boston’s culture, history. He was very patient and answered all our questions. We were not rushed either as some tours might be. Ebikes or Sedways would be the only suggestion 😉 Lots of walking, so be prepared.
Great way to see the city on foot!
Heather_S, Jun 2023
Mark was amazing! The whole tour was lovely and informative. I felt very confident to continue exploring on my own for the rest of the week because we saw so much of what the city had to offer in one tour! I revisited some of the sights the very next day. The other feedback that I would give would be to include food on the second half of the tour. For those of us that stayed on for the full 5hrs, there was no food sampling on the second leg. That’s a bit of a bummer especially for foodies.
History in an hour.
Kevin_E, Jun 2023
We were lucky enough to have Meg as our guide and her knowledge was incredible. The information she parted with was endless and interesting and she herself was informative, assured and confident. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Amazing tour with an amazing guide!
Troy_H, Dec 2022
We loved the perfect combination of food, history, and culture. This tour exceeded our expectations by far! Mark was an amazing guide!
Response from Host, Dec 2022
Hi Troy and thank you for the great review! Our Food Tour to Freedom Trail takes the best of the North End End food experience and combines it with the incredible history of our city. It really gives you the best of everything...and we agree - Mark is a pretty amazing guide too.
Great food and walking tour
axeljavier2001, Nov 2022
We had a great tour thanks to Nabil. We visited quaint spots with great food as we learned from the history of Boston. Nabil did such a great job keeping us engaged in the history and curious facts about famous local residents. Would definitely recommend for families. The walk is long but has multiple stops and breaks.
Response from Host, Dec 2022
Thank you for the great review! Our Food to Freedom Train Tour covers the incredible food and history of the North End and then you get to burn off all of those carbs while walking the rest of the Freedom Trail. And we agree - Nabil does a great job! We hope to see you on another adventure again soon!

Thank you for the 5-star review! Combining the history of Boston along with some of our more famous food is always a great way to learn about our city, We're glad you enjoyed the tour. Cheers!
Perfect summary of the major events in Boston
Marc_L, Nov 2022
Perfect summary of the major events in Boston and a visit to the good restaurants in the Italian district. We enjoyed our tour very much.
Response from Host, Nov 2022
Hi Marc - thank you for the awesome review! We think combining the food and the history of Boston is the best way to discover our city. We're glad you enjoyed the tour and hope to see you on another adventure soon!
The best of Boston!
Andrea_E, Aug 2022
Due to a cancellation, we had our awesome tour guide Sully all to ourselves. Sully called me a few minutes before the tour to make sure we could find him. He took us to amazing little eateries all over the North End to taste sandwiches, pizza, Italian bread, and the best cannoli and cappuccino. Then to the freedom trail where he shared his vast knowledge of Boston history. He knew the answers to every question we had. Finished up with a beer at Beantown Pub! Later that afternoon Sully texted me a recap of our day, so we returned to two of the spots the next day...I needed more cannoli from Cafe Vittoria! If you are looking for a thorough tour with excellent food from a local Bostonian, this tour is for you!
Response from Host, Aug 2022
Hi Andrea - thank you for the great review! Sully grew up in Boston and there is nothing like exploring a city with a real native. He knows his history, he knows his food, and he really knows his cannoli! We're glad you enjoyed the experience.
Best of Boston!
Andy_A, Jun 2022
Tyler was a gray tour guide on revolution history and made great food choices with a focus and n north end Italian treats!
Response from Host, Jun 2022
Thank you for the 5-star review Andy! Food and history are the two best ways to explore a city like Boston. We're glad you enjoyed the experience.
Really great Freedom Trail Tour!
Ann_M, May 2022
My husband and I live south of Boston and always wanted to do the freedom trail tour. This tour touches upon 90%. Bunker Hill is the only exception which was not a big deal. The tour guide Campbell was really knowledgeable and friendly and we had a small group which was nice (6 of us). My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that I wish they included more "Boston" food on the tour even if it was small samples. Examples for future would be: Boston baked beans, clam chowder, Sam Adams beer, boston cream pie, lobster roll, fenway frank, oyster. I would have paid more to have the food a bit more authentic.
Response from Host, Jun 2022
Hi Ann - thank you for sharing your thoughts with us on your experience. We agree - Campbell is a great guide! And we always keep our groups small so that everyone can be engaged in the experience. The food portion of this particular tour is designed to focus on the North End, a very Italian-centric neighborhood. We do offer a Seafood Tour that focuses on the classic Boston seafood scene, so maybe on your next visit you could join us for that. Cheers!

Jim was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable. This was the perfect tour mixing our 2 favorite things; food and history.
