Experience an organ concert at St. Stephen’s Basilica on your next trip to Budapest. What To Expect

Your evening begins in the impressive structure of St. Stephen’s Basilica. One of the most important churches in the country, it is also renowned for its acoustics, making it a popular spot for classical concerts.

Adapted by Miklos Teleki, a prominent Hungarian organist, the concert includes arias from award-winning oratorio singer Kolos Kováts and the revered Eleonóra Krusic. Take your place inside the beautiful neoclassical structure and enjoy the performance.

Concert plus Dinner: Then enjoy dinner or late-night drinks on a Danube River cruise to complete your evening in Budapest.

Hostesses guide you to the pier, where your cruise is waiting.

You have a front-row seat to admire the UNESCO World Heritage Budapest panorama while sipping wine. A buffet dinner is also available with traditional Hungarian dishes and treats (if option selected).

After dinner, grab your drink and climb to the upper deck. From the open-air view, spot the glowing Chain Bridge, the Gellért Baths, the Freedom Monument atop Mount Gellért and the grand sprawl of Buda Castle. Your evening concludes back at Chain Bridge-Pest side.

There is also a possibility to enjoy the Organ Concert & Cruise program if you are not hungry, join us for a Drink & Cruise to relax on our boats while having a couple of drinks. Drink Cruise includes one welcome drink and an optional beverage.

The flautist and opera singer were very good. The organist may have been skilled but the organ was far too loud and the choice of music was depressing. Why not play some cheerful melodies. I couldn’t wait to leave.

The concert was amazing and a great and different way to see St Stephen's Basilica, we really enjoyed it. Only negative comment would be that it would have been nice to have some fans, it was an extremely hot day and whilst at first it was cool in there once it was full of people it felt like there was no air, would have enjoyed more with some air circulating. All 3 musicians gave a great performance.

Wonderful concert with not only organ music but accompanied with an opera singer as well as a flutist! Enjoyed hearing Mozart, Liszt, and Bach... While it was not the basilica's main organ being played, it was nevertheless an excellent concert with fabulous acoustics in a majestic setting. Well worth the money paid for an enjoyable, relaxing evening, I highly recommend!

Spent about 70 minutes listening to the organ soloist, an operatic male singer and a flutist both accompanied by the organ. Can recommend the concert but the caveat that you enjoy organ music first.

The organ concert was very good, with an orderly ticket process, and the Danube cruise w/two drinks was lovely -- but transferring from the church to a somewhat chaotic meeting point and the walk down a dark path to the dock needs reevaluation.
