Amazing visit to a ranch in BA.

Awesome day with Myriam. Our great guide went above and beyond to help us have a great day at the Estancia. We went to the estancia and town and it was an amazing experience with very few people and kind and welcoming staff. Cheers.

Disappointing

The tour details were not accurate. It said you could go for a horse ride or carriage ride around the farm. It was a very small farm, only 20 acres, there were only 3 horses and the ‘ride’ was 5 minutes around a field! No carriage. The photo advertising the tour showed gauchos on their horses and it states there would be a demonstration of gaucho skills - there were no gauchos on horses and this did not happen! Very disappointing! Food was just OK.

The small group was nice - entertainment (Gauchos on horseback and the dancers) was very good. Owner was very pleasant and helpful (got us mosquito spray). Saw lots of animals and had lots of food and wine! I recommend this tour!!!!

Lorena our guide was wonderful. Information from the time we were all on board to whem we got back. The Mimosa Ranch was fabulous. Authentic, action packed and enough food and drink for an army. We were stuffed, some other were tipsy. The horse riding was fun but the stars were the dancers. Superb day trip.

The wine was good The ring competition was a great experience. First matte tasting experience of empañados. Only bad experience was that tour was not what was on description when we bought it.

We loved the tour with one exception. One of our friends was sick and could not go. We’ve been trying to get a refund and the company is now trying to charge us three times the amount.

The day started with being picked up by the agency van around 9am. The tour guide, Myriam, was WONDERFUL. Welcoming, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We got to the Estancia and were on a horse ride right away. Then they welcomed us back with empanadas and drinks - my husband and I had wine because why not?! We all had some free time and decided to just relax and chat with the rest of the group. The parrillada was excellent! All the food was delicious. The staff is great and helpful to all patrons. The Doma India show was so beautiful! & we all were invited to dance their Gaucho folkloric dances. It was a wonderful time! I highly recommend!

Ranch tour

A great day. Carolina was an excellent guide and explained everything very clearly. We had a stop in San Antonio and then onto the ranch. Had a horse ride and a lunch. A variety of bbq meat which was delicious and salads. Also desert and wine or beer. We got to watch a folk show and to have a dance if you wanted. The horse whisperer was excellent. All of this under the shade of the very big trees. Was a great day.

The Gaucho day tour at the estancia La Florita in San Antonio de Areco was an amazing experience. Our guide Miriam and driver Felix were both first class professionals who helped make our experience as good as it was. The over 100km drive to the estancia passed by quite quickly as Miriam gave us lots of information about the area, the history and a lot of interesting anecdotes etc. The town had of San Antonio de Areco was a a very nice, quiet and interesting place to make a short stop. Once at the estancia, we were greeted with a welcome drink and an empanada, we did horse riding, enjoyed an excellent meal with wine followed by an excellent musical performance and to top it all off there was a great display of horsemanship. The truly amazing thing is that all these things were provided/performed by the same group that of family members who own and run the estancia. Full marks to an amazing experience

Exceeded Expectations!

This excursion exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Myriam and driver Felix, were friendly and professional. Myriam was very knowledgeable. The estancia is beautiful, the gauchos are entertaining and funny, the food and wine are plentiful. Horses are very tame, farm dogs are sweet. It's very relaxing, and truly a small group experience. They will go out of their way to accommodate you!

The horseback riding, thought not long enough for me, was fun. Seeing all of the cows, calves, horses, chickens, owls, parakeets and dogs roaming the ranch. Listening to the musical performance and watching examples of local dancing. And then there was the meal. A never ending array of beef that was delicious. And the gauchos had a traditional competition between each other playing a game of skill while speeding on their horses. Also the stop at the silver workshop along the route, was very unique.

Our guide was the best part of our day! Veronica was amazing! Fun, informative and helpful! She is a great photographer too and shares perfect photos! The tour is exactly as described and was even more fun than we expected. It was a perfect way to spend a beautiful Sunday just outside of Buenos Aires and all 5 people in our group would absolutely recommend it. Our hosts at the ranch did an amazing job and provide a fabulous experience. The tour company was great on communication and logistics.

Lucia was a great tour guide! The full day Gaucho adventure at Ombu was a real treat. Gaucho cultural information and entertainment was very interesting. The meal/asado was excellent! Great for couples or families.

My wife and I had an excellent time visiting this quaint ranch in the pampas lands of Argentina. Our tour guide, Sandra, was terrific and kept us up well informed about everything we saw throughout the day. The horse ride was easy and enjoyable. The food was good, especially the empanadas. The latter meal included sausages, salad, potatoes, chicken, ribs and two types of beef. Various drinks and wine were also offered. The music and dance program after the meal were well done and the horse whisperer exhibition closed things out very nicely. I would highly recommend this day trip from Buenos Aires to anyone considering visiting a nearby ranch.
