Overview

Go fishing in the smooth waters of Trinity Inlet during a half-day outing a professional guide. Met at the Marlin Marina in front of the Pier Shopping Centre on Finger D berth 2, board a 19-foot (6-meter) flat-bottom boat called the River Rocket. Explore mangroves and watch for wildlife—including saltwater crocodiles—as you search for Grunter, Fingermark, Blue Salmon, Queen Fish, Thread Fin, and other local species. Enjoy all necessary gear included in the tour price.

Great experience. Darryl was an excellent host. We did not catch a lot of fish but it wasn’t from a lack of effort. It was a beautiful stretch of water and got to see a lot of the estuary system. We would come again if we are in Cairns.

Darryl gave a great running commentary with a wicked sense of humor.Great trip able to go to sheltered parts of estuary when winds were high towards the reef and other boats couldn't go out. Thanks Darryl

Darryl was a great captain who was easy to deal with and provided a relaxed environment to fish. Very knowledgeable and took us to spots where we caught fish/sharks as well as sighted other marine wildlife.

Highly disappointed as we caught apparently ( the most embarrassing fish to catch according to Daryl) both throw backs but we had a great afternoon out on the water … what we missed on in catching Daryl made up in chatting, jokes and a job offer for our son in law from another customer!

Girlfriend's first fishing trip

Darryl is a friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable fishing guide. All of our lines were baited and casted for us and he navigated the estuary with expertise. He provide mosquito repellent, sunscreen and took the time to ask us about our personal lives. Although we didn't have the best luck fishing that day, my girlfriend and I had a great time and would recommend.
