It was the best day of my whole trip, I liked the program - it included 3 places and even a lunch buffet on a boat. My guide Mahmoud, with whom we could speak both Russian and English languages easily, is kind, cordial person and highly knowlegible historian. Please, send my big thanks and warmest regards to him - I really appreciate his attention to my or, would to any traveller, individual situation, needs and spiritual interests.

March 9th, 2024. Our guide was awesome! Super communicative and in a good mood (unfortunately I can’t remember his name). He seemed to know almost everyone around Cairo and we felt super at ease and safe with him, even at Al Khalili market which was packed with people. We started our day at the Egyptian Museum, where he explained the most important info about the Old and New Kingdoms, and the museum has some pieces that are just breathtaking. After that, we had lunch at a boat restaurant in the Nile and it was pretty good, it had lots of options because it was a buffet (drinks sold separately). After lunch, we headed straight to Al Khalili Market, followed by Old Cairo, Ben Ezra Sinagogue, The Hanging Church and a few more spots before coming back to the hotel. Worth mentioning that we were staying in Giza and the agency picks you up there, so it’s super convenient :)

Good tour to spend a quality day in Cairo

Very fullfilling tour. In one day, we saw the highlights of Cairo without wasting time and on our own schedule. We chose an option of the driver assistance only and had a great time. He drove us around all places we wanted and gave some insights and directions. Sala was a great driver, very helpful and we enjoys his company. My recommendations are to take a 1 hour private guide at the museum to get a better understanding. You will see them around by the ticket booth and it cost just $20, money well spent. We also took a local guide at the Citadel for $10, which was also very interesting and helpful.

There is so much to see and our guide Omar did a fantastic job of catering our tour to exactly what we wanted to see. We saw all the highlights and couldn’t have had a better time! The mosques were breath taking. Coptic Cairo had lots to see and learn. The museum had an overwhelming amount of artifacts and our guide Omar took us to all the highlights and really gave us the most for the short amount of time we had! It’s the most fun I’ve seen my two teenage boys have on a tour!

The tour itself was good - both the guide and driver were knowledgeable and tentative. However we picked the option that includes the driver, guide and entry tickets (which was ~ 100 dollar more than the option without the tickets when we booked it). Turned out we only needed two tickets for the meseum (~ 20 dollar) during our tour. Probably good to check the ticket price before booking so that you don’t end up paying the extra for nothing.

Zainab was amazing as a guide. She is very knowledgable and speaks great english. She will tailor whatever you wanted to see on the trip and will give you a great experience on all the included items. I had a great time and she showed me a lot of the city and it's real feel.

The guide was amazing!! Hesham Mohmed is really kind and always makes you feel confortable. The museum is amazing, altough there is a lot of people and there is no air conditioner, the time spent there is really valuable. Also the car driver was an amazing driver in the crazy Cairo.

Family private visit to Egyptian Museum Coptic Christian Cairo and old Market with our Spanish-speaking guide. The guide picked us up at the scheduled time close to our hotel. The visit consisted of exploring Coptic area, the old cairo market and the Egyptian Museum. The guide spoke good Spanish and told us many interesting things in his explanations. Perhaps in the museum there were moments of overinformation about the dynasties, pharaohs and others. In general we liked the experience very much, maybe I would eliminate the visit to the market because it is just stores to sell to tourists.

Our guide, Khalid, was an incredible source of knowledge on all things Egypt. A licensed and certified Egyptologist he was full of fascinating facts in the artifacts in the museum, churches and synagogues. He was charming and we shared many laughs over the day. His driver, Mena, was professional and courteous; always opening and closing my wife’s door for her. Traffic in Cairo is like nothing we’ve seen in our life but despite charging cars, pedestrians simply walking into traffic, buzzing motorcycles he was calm and composed. We spent around 3 hours in the Egyptian Museum and Khalid navigated us to all the important and not to be forgotten artifacts always explaining in great detail it’s history. Onto Old Cairo where we visited a store that specializes in essences and oils. Then later we visited the Papyrus store where we saw how they make papyrus. Fascinating stuff! The merchants are exceedingly hospitable and there is no pressure to buy. From there we went to the Hanging Church and visited a beautiful mosque. We also saw the tombs of King Farouk and the late Shah of Iran. Lunch was on a large boat in the Nile and was quite enjoyable both for the food and the conversation with our guide. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk with a purpose. We really enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this tour.

This tour was awesome. The visit to the Christian neighborhood was an incredible experience. The visit to the bazaar was great because my tour guide allowed me to spend my time walking and shopping around with freedom. He gave me a couple of advices and we decided to meet after some time, I did not have the pressure to go to any store and I was able to purchase whatever I wanted. The visit to the Egyptian museum was really nice but you can see they are preparing everything to be move to the new museum. My guide tour was knowledgeable and patient and I appreciated.

I enjoyed my day with Ali. The Museum visit was very fun and informative. Ali helped me to buy some souvenir in a local shop with a reasonable price. The Coptic visit was average. This tour is advertised as a 8 hrs tour, but technically there is not enough stops and material more than 3-4 hrs for a solo visitor. So 8 hours is including launch, and chit chat of large groups. Viator and TripAdvisor should fix this as in other countries the duration of tours are more accurate. I deduct 1 star because of the tour manager. He contacted me before the tour happens and told me that he will tell me who will be my tour guide and also give me some info about PCR tests. However, he didn't respond any of my texts till the day after because "was sleeping". so I got lucky that i didnt rely on him for my PCR test. for some weird reasons, he doesnt give you the contact info of the tour guy, so again I got lucky that I came back to hotel early after my breakfast as my tour guide was waiting for me in the lobby and I had no idea that he has arrived. Overall I am happy with the tour, it could be a bit cheaper.

Mohamed was a fantastic tour guide. He was very personal and had deep knowledge of the church, mosque and synagogue in Old Cairo as well as the Egyptian Museum. It was a nice way to visit parts of Cairo and not feel overwhelmed by the business of the streets. Thank you!
