I had a bad tour guide. Avoid Emo Tours..

This was offered through EMO tours. Unfortunately the tour guide they assigned to us was pretty bad. His English was not up to mark, and he was nor engaging and enthusiastic about anything. His only motivation was how to take us to his "friends'" store in the market and give me a "good discount".... I think Emo tour should be more careful about choosing their guide if the care for their reputation. I cannot give more than 2 start for this trip.

Great overview of Cairo’s religious monuments and history

We loved the personalised touch of this experience, with Fatima being a most knowledgeable and friendly guide and with a safe driver and car. The tour was at a good pace where we did not feel rushed nor did it go too slow. Lunch was good. The only down side was as it was Ramadan we needed to start earlier and finish earlier meaning we did the bazaar first when it was just opening, a great contrast but not so good for purchasing. Overall a thoroughly great day.

Ahmed was our driver and he dropped us to each site as close as he could get which was a great achievement given the heavy traffic on this day. He was very kind & helpful to us and we communicated by whatsap for pickup We hadn’t requested a guide and we enjoyed our day very much

Private tour with driver and guide

We came a day early for a Viking cruise and decided to book a private tour for the Coptic area. It was nice to have a driver plus a tour guy. The drive Ghandi would drop us off while Sayed took us on the tour. Having hotel pick up and drop off is a must if u are touring the city for the first time. Don’t expect an Egyptologist but still very informative. Do make sure you go the to the Cave church where the holy family stayed for 3 months while Jesus was a baby. Sayed was a good guide.

What a wonderful day we had with our knowledgeable, friendly tour guide Wagih and terrific driver Ahmed Mohamed! We had customized this tour and were not disappointed. Visiting the Coptic churches and the Museum were highlights, but Wagih’s kindness made us feel so welcomed to Egypt!

Wonderful tour with great sightseeing. The tour guy was very nice, helpfull and knowledgeable. However, there was not transportation. The tour guide had to take taxis and uber for half of the tour. There was not bottle of water either. It was not his fall. He did the best according to the situation.
