Good tour - not too spooky

The guide shared lots of curious stories about ghostly history. Disappointed that we didn't get into the Unitarian cemetery. We returned the next morning out of curiosity

Mike Brown hosts an awesome tour. I’ve been on lots of these trips and this was the best. Whereas most trips just tell stories, Mike actually had an iPad with all kinds of relevant pictures of places and things and even spectral phenomena. It was very cool and I would highly recommend his trip again.

The stories were great. I can’t wait to follow the tour guide Podcast. The pictures and stories of the grave yard, prison, and the hotel were great. The Library and story of the books ess also interesting. It was fun for all learning history and ghost stories.

A great tour to kick off our Charleston trip

This tour was a fun way to kick off our trip to Charleston, giving us a bit of local lore mixed with historical insights. Our guide was both knowledgeable and an entertaining storyteller. He managed the group well, ensuring we all could hear his stories and see the supporting images he shared. The walk was easy and the content was fitting for our 12 and 15 year old children, as well as the other slightly younger children in our group.

Fantastic tour, don’t even hesitate to book it. Mike Brown is one of the best storytellers I’ve heard. He is a well-researched historian who shares very interesting and not-well-known facts about ghosts as well as about Charleston history, He has a great delivery style - macabre meets dry humor - which makes it a highly entertaining as well as educational walking tour for adults and kids alike. I did the tour with my 13 year old who loved it as well. We are now his #1 podcast fans and have been listening to it as we have continued our stay in Charleston.
