Great experience

Tour was great, we got a private guide with the same tour company that was excellent, she wasn’t rushing went on a great pace because my wife is 6 months pregnant . Guide was knowledgeable of Machu Picchu. Transportation was comfortable and train ride was great and all 4 of us had assigned seats together . Overall a great experience and great service.

Pros: Machu Pichu was incredible. We really enjoyed the scenic train ride. It was an unforgettable experience. Communication with Amerika was good. Cons: I booked this tour because according to the detail description, we would be picked up from the hotel at 4:30AM. We were picked up at the hotel at 2:50AM, way too early. We were dropped off at the hotel at 8PM. That is a little over 17 hours. There was too much idle time in Aguas Calientes. We finished our Machu Pichu tour at 10:30AM and had to wait until 3:20PM for the train back. I wish either we would not be picked up so early in the morning or that we would leave Machu Pichu earlier.

The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. And the schedule allowed for enough time afterwards to explore the town of Aguas Calientes. My only regret is that I took the tour that included the hybrid bus+train option from Cusco to Machu Picchu. The train ride was so scenic that I wish I’d taken the train the whole way.

The trip was as expected. Out guide was amazing! He had a lot of knowledge and was very attentive when it came to taking rest breaks without anyone needing to ask. The site is absolute spectacular! The communication before the trip, we didn't get any of our information or tickets until less than 12 hours before pickup and we're still missing a set of tickets.

Unbelievable experience! Machu Picchu is incredible. I am very impressed with this tour. They are extremely punctual and organized. My advice to everyone is to get a good night’s rest as you will be busy from around 3am to almost 7pm. Highly recommended!

Great tour, not the best journey.

The tour guide Edwin was great. Very knowledgeable about Machu Picchu and made it a fun day. What let this tour down was the lack of clear communication regarding each mode of transport (there were a lot!). Being in a foreign country and not having clear guides with you is daunting and this one wasn’t a fun experience to get there. That being said, once there it was amazing.

The trip was well organized. Aremika travel did a good job communicating with us before and during the trip, which was necessary because of changes in travel needs. Our train was late getting into the station on our way back to Cusco, which led to a bus change. We arrived at a different station in Cusco, but the rep arranged our taxi and had it ready upon our return. We had a beautiful day and enjoyed the informative tour through Machu Picchu. It was an incredible experience!

Long and tiring day but worth the visit.

Our visit was very nice, and our guide Hamilton was great. The only thing that was NOT nice is that we had to wait almost 3 hours after coming down from Machu Picchu to wait for the Inca Rail train to get back! We could have been booked on an earlier train seeing that lunch was not included in our ticket. We then would have taken an earlier train back. We only got back to our B&B in Cusco at 20:30 that night. Rather give the customer the choice of departure time if possible. I would definitely recommend people to also rather stay in Ollantaytambo if you want to visit Machu Picchu.

My family and I had a wonderful time. Everything was very well planned and executed. Our guide Hamilton was very well informed about Inca history and Machu Picchu. He gave us alot of rich information and time to soak in the wonders around us. The day is very long but well worth it! An experience we will always remember. Before visiting the site, we lost internet in our hotel and the company assigned to us did everything possible to make sure we didn't miss a beat. We are really appreciative of thier efforts to truly make this a memorable experience.

Long waits

I am disappointed with this trip. We were collected from our accommodation at 4.20am and taken to the incarail line. We arrived to Agua Caliente at 8.30am and were told our guide would meet us. We waited for 45mins until a friendly local let us use data on their phone. It turns out the guide was told to meet us at 11am at Macchu Picchu. We wandered around the town and got the bus up waiting to meet the guide who then didn't acknowledge our wait. We then had to wait further until the rest of the group had arrived. The guide was very knowledgeable and Macchu Picchu was amazing. However we then had to wait another 1.5hrs after the tour ended until the train was departing. I don't see the need for us to have left so early if we couldn't get in until the rest of the group has arrived just after 11. Additionally the long wait at the end was annoying too. Its quite frustrating when you pay a lot of money for a service for things not to go well. As mentioned, the guide was very good and there was a door to door service at the end of the day. Im just disappointed at having paid so much for basic miscommunication issues to still have happened.

Dear Sir or Madam Thank you very much for your information. I apologize for the error of our guide at your arrival time. But unfortunately even the best hunter can be wrong sometimes. Now if our departure to Cusco is scheduled at 4:00 am to 4:30 approx. due to anticipate delays that may occur in the arrival times of the train, and also within the same is contemplated a space of approximately 30 to 1 hour for you to have time for breakfast in town or buy a snack. According to the indications of our guide, the tour starts at 10:00 am which is the recommended time to take the bus that takes you to the entrance gate, this bus takes approximately 45 minutes and we start at 11:00 am the visit to Machupicchu. And then you have time to return and go down to the village so you can have lunch and wait for the departure time of the train that fits the scheduled times. All comments are for us to be more careful and not to trust, we appreciate your input and this will help us to better serve our future customers. As for the cost the price of the season is the average price we do not charge too expensive or too cheap but we always look for the best experience for our customers. And if we had any fault upon arrival to Machupicchu I apologize and we will continue to improve our experiences.
