Michael was so awesome! We had had a late return the night before and needed to change our pick up location last minute. He came to find us and showed us an amazing day. He took special care with authentic locations and stories behind them. Would highly recommend a tour with him driving any day. He provided information about where best to be for the parade and great places to visit and eat at . This was such a highlight tour of our trip. Thanks for a special day.

We had an amazing time on this tour. The sights of both the countryside while driving in the large-windowed transport, and the sites listed in the itinerary were stunning, and our driver JJ was incredibly friendly, jovial, and informative about the history of the area. It’s definitely a long day, but we knew that going in, and felt it was very worthwhile, and comfortable. It’s also worth noting that we stopped for the bathroom and for food more times than I was aware of based on the description, which was great. We would highly recommend taking this tour!

This tour should have been canceled! The small group bus was unavailable and the boat trip was canceled too. This refund is inadequate for us enduring 1.5 hours late pickup (having us wait outside & no information or update on the tour issues prior boarding the bus with 62 passengers) which we scheduled the small group to avoid the large group, making a transfer of buses on our return to Dublin. We will not be booking any tours in the future with Viator. This tour was a disgrace!

Long wet day

This was the most expensive tour we purchased and not worth the money at all. We left our hotel at 6:30 am so that we could get to the starting point of the tour at 7am. Our van arrived and then made two other stops (one right past our original hotel) before driving around Dublin for over an hour so that he could get to the office for paperwork. We didn't get on the road until after 9am. We made a stop on the way for a bathroom break but the driving wanted breakfast so this "break" was over an hour. When we finally got to the Castle we only had an hour and a half because we needed to continue to the Cliffs of Moher. By the time we got to the Cliffs we had about 45 minutes. We returned directly back to Dublin, no stops and arrived around 7:45. During our entire time in this small van, we received no commentary or sightseeing info at all from our driver. He was either very inexperience or did not like his job at all.

The Cliffs of Moher are breathtaking,, a must see we also had an amazing tour guide, Alex, he kept everyone entertained with his jokes and vast knowledge of Irelands history.

Had a great trip that ended with good beer and fish and chips.

This so-called small group tour wasn't much smaller than the bigger Paddywagon bus. I always felt rushed and it was difficult to relax and enjoy. The cliffs from the boat were incredible. The driver was polite and informative but when we got back to a Dublin close to 9 pm (started from a pickup at 7:10 am) he left a few of us bewildered souls at Temple Bar after dark not the same location the tour as advertised. Thank goodness for Google maps and my international phone plan. Please have the driver be more informative on logistics. I've been on previous tours and the driver (Paul) was excellent in that regard.

Not a Small Group

Very disappointed with the fact that this was a large group and not a small group as advertised. There were at least 35 on the tour and my bet is that the majority did not pay the premium for the small group and paid the standard tour fee. I am very confident that this is so because the staff kept pulling people from the main tour meeting location until they filled up our bus (not a Mercedes van). Dave our driver and tour guide did an excellent job until the end when he dumped us off in the middle of town and did not take us back to our hotel as advertised. The best view of the cliffs is from the water. There is an option to take a boat in Doolin to see the cliffs, €28 per person, those that opted out saw very little because of the fog. Pictures shown here are from the water. Highly recommend seeing cliffs from the boat. Trip was very good but the false advertising warrants the poor rating.

Beware you might not be in a small group..

We booked the small group tour which was supposed to be a 17-25 max passenger large van like the pictures. We ended up in a 30-40 bus full instead because it was over booked. We paid the price for the small group tour even though it was a large tour. Very disappointing. In my opinion, too much time was spent at the castle at 2 hours. By the time we got to the Cliffs we only had an hour and a half to look around and take the boat ride. This seemed rushed when it was the most important part of the tour. We were late getting back to Dublin by over an hour. We rolled into town at 9:15 pm. Overall, I would not do this tour again. The cliffs were beautiful but I would find another tour.

Didn't get what we paid for

We paid extra for a small personable private tour via a Mercedes Van. We ended up with a full capacity tour bus with terrible seats. Outside of that the trip was fantastic, tour guide / bus driver was great, shared good knowledge but did not talk the entire time. Bunratty castle was fantastic to go through and very memorable! The cliffs were absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and stunning. We lucked out with fantastic weather made for amazing photos! It is offered to be dropped off at the Doolin pier to grab an hour long boat tour around the cliffs, I would not recommend wasting an hour of your time with this. There's 200 seats on the boat and only maybe 80 of them are in the open top / open bottom. The rest of the seats are inside the boat looking through unclean windows that do not male for grab visibility or photos.

Don’t walk … run for this tour !

This was our first time in Dublin, Ireland and this was an excellent tour to show us the countryside and the coast. Dave, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and friendly. He made the whole experience really fun and enjoyable. The bus was clean and comfortable and all of the sites he took us to were so interesting. The Cliffs were amazing to see in person, as was the castle and the surrounding little old world village. The food at restaurant we had lunch was delicious! My wife and I highly recommend this tour.

Excellent Moher tour

The Cliffs were beautiful. The wind was exhilarating. The guide, Alex, was knowledgeable and he prearranged a table when we stopped at the pub for lunch. The food was great. The luxury van was clean and comfortable.
