Glendalough had a beautiful nature and it was lovely to see it in autumn colors. Kilkenny city was a nice little town with lots to explore. Our tour guide was very nice, fun and gave us interesting information about the places. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a day trip from Dublin!

Seeing the Giant’s Causeway! It was stunning and stood up to all if my expectations. I also appreciated our driver and tour guide (Alex) too. Very knowledgeable and a genuinely lovely guy.

We were extremely disappointed with the quality of this tour, having had excellent previous experiences with booking through Viator. We knew we were in trouble when I asked the staff at the meeting point, will the guide be providing us with historical background and context, and they all smirked and rolled their eyes. Our guide was a chatty fellow who drove us to the two sites (Glendalough and Kilkenny, which were fabulous), and in the last five minutes before we arrived at each, he told us a little bit about what the major features were - nothing we hadn’t read in a guidebook or else we wouldn’t have known to book the tour. We asked him questions about the history behind the sites he couldn’t answer! We weren’t expecting a personalized guide for every step of the way, but this fellow could barely be bothered to get out of the car! For the same price, all the other Viator operators offered at least a brief walking introduction to the site and in fact we saw other guides from the same company wandering about. I won’t name the guide, who seemed more interested in telling us what pubs to visit in Dublin, and was very considerate of our comfort, but we will definitely think twice and be very skeptical in booking future tours.

Simply a fantastic trip. We where only 4 people on the trip, so we got a small bus. A sad by the driver, and he was a great guide and a great person. The Nature was gorgeous, though it was a rainy day. I highly recomment the trip.

Plenty of time to explore Glendalough and then Kilkenny. The guides/drivers were excellent: enthusiastic, friendly, helpful, approachable, highly knowledgeable. The day was let down by the broken air con in the bud on the journey back to Dublin on a very hot day, it was extremely uncomfortable, however in no way was it the driver's fault.

Such a fun experience! We traveled from Nebraska and Stayed in Dublin so it was nice to get out of the city and see the countryside. Our driver and guide Richard O’Brien was 10 out of 10. Very funny and entertaining but also learned a lot about Ireland history. Also enjoyed his bus ride playlist. Highly recommend this tour!

Glendalough is stunning and I could have spent hours there! Unfortunately we spent 5 and half hours of our 9 hour tour on a bus!! We got an hour and half at Glendalough and Kilkenny is really not worth a 2 hour trip - a lovely city but nothing amazing! Really disappointed as was not informed that most of the time will be spent on a coach!
