If you’re going to Florence I would highly recommend doing this trip. The bikes are so easy to use and the tour guide was excellent with a lot of knowledge and experience. At no point did we feel rushed and he waited for all the group to catch up as in the centre of Florence it’s very busy with tourists. At the top of the hills the views are just beautiful not something you should miss. I would do this again in a heart beat.

Terrible guide

I wish I could tell you the guide’s name but he never told us. To begin the ride he have us perfunctory tons on how to work the electric bike and the. Just took off. No introductions. He clearly did not enjoy giving us the history of the landmarks. The worst was that he continually rode through red lights and left rush trying to chase him down. He never looked back to see where we were. Thr entire group continually was left to trying to chase him down. This could’ve been a nice ride. There were some scenic landmarks but he just rode past them

Once we figured out the bikes it was great fun. We have never ridden an e-bike before. The guide ignored the error showing on my bike, so I had quite an uphill cycle. We passed beautiful spots, but no chance to stop for photos. Was basically an uphill cycle with someone showing us the road. Not worth the money. Rent an e-bike on the square and go on your own

Fun beautiful and a bit crazy

Touring the busy city was both fun and a bit scary. You will ride alongside cars through traffic. The very good part was when we traveled on bike paths and when we got to the countryside. That was awesome! Beautiful! The guide should tell you to stop and walk your bike through busy pedestrian areas! If they don’t just do it anyway. I actually ran into a person at one point yikes

Interesting but uncomfortable

Having been on a few e-bike trips, we were really looking forward to this one. The tour started late and there was a very limited walkthru about setting up the bike and using the electric gearing. The tour guide didn’t introduce himself. Starting by Duomo was hectic - there were lots of pedestrians and at times it would have been safer to walk the bike. At one point another tourist guide told me off for riding my bike in a pedestrian area, and when I said I was following my guide, they said they didn’t care. The views of the city were excellent however, but we could have done with a little more time in places.
