Crowded but good to see

I liked the tour and history behind the art. The guide had a lot of information but wasn't always easy to understand his English. The place was crowded and thus confusing in a group. The visit is worthwhile, though not likely "top of the list"

Jaico (the tour guide) was awesome. However, keep in mind that the group does not meet in front of Uffizi, but a couple of blocks away. I realized it at the last minute, but I contacted then and they had staff waiting for us in Uffizi. Great experience and great customer service.

The art work was beautiful but the tour guide lacked energy. In addition my audio didn’t work and she did nothing to assist me. She also was not wearing green as was expected and did not make it easy to follow her.

We paid for an English speaking guide instead we got a guide whose English wasn’t clear in fact questions put her could not be understood she wasn’t coherent in English. Very disappointing

It took over an hour just to get into the museum after starting late and then the guide kept talking about the David at the Accademia. What? We were at the Uffizi. We left after 1.5 hours and still not having seen Venus. Disappointing.

We had to wait 30 minutes to get into the gallery because there were so many other tours ahead of us. I believe the tour was cut short because of that. Also the guide was impossible for any of us to understand. So it was a complete waste of time and money. One good thing though was that she recommended an excellent restaurant in the area and made a reservation for me.

Edwardo made the tour special. He was very knowledgeable and my family was so engaged. Our tour product was short but Edwardo was so good that I regretted buying a longer one by the end of the tour. We strongly recommend him and this tour.

I had to change my tour last minute and didn't read carefully. Instead of English, I booked French speaking accidentally. However, they were very accommodating, especially since it was just the two of us in the tour! We basically ended up with a private tour, in English! Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable! We had a short walking tour on the way to the Uffizi, and he took us to all the great works of art and explained the technique and significance! I highly recommend!

I was really glad that I joined this tour to Uffizi. Actually I am not familiar with art and I do not quite know how to appreciate art, but my tour guide Julia made this trip very interesting and memorable for me. She is very knowledgeable, she shared a lot to me from history, to the stories of various artists and the artwork details. I really learnt so much and understand the role of Firenze in Renaissance much more! Thank you for this great experience!

Guide shared too much of his "take"

The tour guide was gracious and answered questions but had a tendency to share his "take" on the meaning of the painting or sculpture with highly subjective interpretations. He tended to share a philosophical view of what the artist was trying to express through their finished piece. I would have appreciated him asking us what we saw or how we interpreted the artist's creation. It reached a point where I tuned him out because he often went on and on.

I was able to meet the group directly at the gallery which saved me time and distance. I was using a walker and the gallery is very handicapped accessible. The guide pushed me along which was most appreciated.

Do not trust this tour operator

Sketchy tour operator sold us skip the line tickets on free museum day. Attached are pictures of the security line. Tour operator said it would be a 10 minute wait in line. This is not skip the line. Also, that line was more like 60 minutes. The Uffizi does not give tour groups priority on free museum day so we would have had to wait in that line. We could not have done this tour and been back to our ship on time. Beware of this operator and shame on them for selling skip the line on free museum day.
