Fascinating and informative- creepy stories too!

Giacomo was a great guide- with his dramatic and humorous storytelling and personality. I’m glad we did this night tour at the beginning of our visit to Florence because it laid the groundwork for the days following. While it was still busy at night with people all around, it wasn’t as “crazy busy” and crowded as the same sites in the daytime. We were very comfortable because of the cooler weather in September compared to Jul/Aug. It was good for our teenager who gets bored easily too. This tour was a perfect 1.5 hours to hold one’s attention- and a great way to learn about the crazy ups and downs and family dramas that built this beautiful city.

Angelina gave a great tour, this was fun to learn about the dark side of Florence. Really worth it to hear about legends and beliefs- it adds a new type of characteristic to this very charming city! Not super scary which is good because I was worried I would be terrified, but I wasn’t! It was fun!

I really enjoyed this tour, the guide Angela was brilliant at telling all the different stories and did so in a very fun way too. It was very interesting to learn about the darker history of Florence, which I can imagine must not be easy to research. Also it allowed me to see certain things which I never would have on a regular tour. Would definitely recommend this tour to others who want to learn more about this side of history in the city.

The guide tried but the English translation of these stories missed the mark. These tours are all about the story telling. I have done many of these tours in the past and they were wonderful but this was lacking any energy.

This was such a fun way to see the city while breaking up the monotonous, typical historical tour. Still a lot of history, but some fun stories along the way. The story of the woman at the Duomo and the story of the Monster of Florence were very creepy and bone chilling. The story of the Mafia was very interesting, it was a fun tour and cool way to introduce yourself to Florence!

This was an interesting twilight tour that focused on the sites associated with love-lorn ghosts, eccentric Medicis, an unsolved serial killing spree, and outrageous mafia terrorism. My daughter (age 18) and I loved it! This is ot a tour for young children, as some of the subject matter is mature. Guide was informative and pleasant! Note: This is a free tour sponsored by the Floence tourism council; you are paying a fee to secure your spot ahead of time. It was well worth it. Remember to tip your guide as if you paid for a full tour because they work so hard!
