Pickup details

We pick up from all hotels, cruise ship piers, or residences within 20 miles of Waikiki. Pickup time will be 8:30am; you can contact us if you would like a different start time. Starting in 2024, we no longer pick up from the airport, but we can drop you off at the airport at the end of the tour.

Our tour guide - Eddy - picked us up right on time in a very clean and newer van. He is an awesome guide and an even better person. He was super accommodating in a couple of stops we had not asked for but added on. He also took us to a couple of his favorite places that we had no idea existed. It was an awesome day. We would recommend him and Custom Island Tour without any hesitation. Thank You!

You can book this tour from cousin island tour save 100 dollars also We pay for 8 hour got done by 7 Also I asked for a few stop the drive just play I didn’t know I wrote out the list for him 🥹 instead suggest to rum place It was alright, spend extra money We didn’t buy anything Could of use that time for places I want

Aloha, The price of the tour was for a Private tour for 1 to 3 people, so you get the tour driver and the van all to yourself for up to 8 hours. Other tour companies would charge you for the full potential of a 10 to 15 passenger van which is over $900, but our price is $500. There are stops that are popular that the City Council has recently passed laws that tour companies cannot go there, so this means All tour companies, if they go there they are breaking the law and the fine is $500. There is a list of these places on our webpage at CustomIslandTours.net Also, beware of illegal tour companies, they may have a lower price because they are not paying for Commercial Insurance, and are avoiding taxes and permits. So if you get into an accident, you may not be covered. Make sure to look for the PUC permit number on the side of the vehicle before getting into any tour van. I just did a search of Active Motor Carriers Report for permitted tour companies that contain the name "Cousin" and there is none with a permit by that name.

We had an amazing tour of the island with Bridgette. She did an awesome job. We saw the whole island. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking! She also took us to some great local eateries. We would recommend this adventure to anyone!

Tyco our guide was awesome. Very informative, friendly, funny and knowledgeable. He showed us some of the parts of Hawaii that tourists don't usually see. I would recommend this tour to anyone that wants to stay away from the big crowds. You can also direct what you want to see and do. We had time for several beautiful picture stops, lunch and we drove all the way around the island.

Brie was our tour guide and she’s one of the best tour guides we have had. This was our first time in Oahu, but we didn’t have much time. We wanted to see the sights but we didn’t have an itinerary in mind, so we asked Brie to take us around some of her favorite (less touristy, amazing) places. 8 hours went by so quickly, and if we had a longer stay in Oahu, we would be able to do all the hikes she pointed out. She also pointed out some sights from movies filmed around Oahu, which she memorized from preparing for specific movie tours.

Che was our driver for Oahu. He was very courteous and informative during our tour. Because we had an appointment to tour Pearl Harbor later in the morning, Che took us on a tour to Diamond Head and pointed out some of the remnants of WWII around the top of the park. We got to the Pearl Harbor exhibit on time and Che even walked us into the facility to help us find the theater. We watched a video about the attack on Pearl Harbor prior to getting on a boat to tour the bay where the Arizona monument, the battleship Missouri and a submarine were located. Unfortunately, we could not go on the Arizona memorial because a storm had damaged the mooring dock. But passing by the memorial was still heart rending. Che took us for a tour of the rest of the island, pointing out facts about different areas of the island. One of the required stops in Hawaii is visiting a macadamia nut farm....with free samples! Yum! Che is a fountain of information and we would highly recommend him for this island tour.
