CHECK-IN 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO FLIGHT TIME! At the MAIN ENTRANCE of the Lihue Airport stay in the left lane at the second stop sign turn left to continue on Ahukini Rd. In 0.3 miles turn right onto Waikai, St., parking area is to your right.

Join your pilot, along with an intimate group of three other guests, and jump into your open-door helicopter. Buckle up, put on your communication headset, and get settled in your window seat.
As you take to the skies, begin by viewing lush canyons, cliffs, and flowing water from above. Then, as you fly above Kauai, get the chance to see the Manawaiopuna Falls from Jurassic Park, as well as the Na Pali Coast.
And, as you fly past Waimea Canyon State Park, watch movement of multiple cascading waterfalls. Once your open-door adventure comes to an end, touch down back at your departure point.

- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

It was an amazing experience! I definitely recommend it, it puts the whole trip in perspective to see the layout of the island. It was a cloudy and quite windy day when we went so I was a bit concerned that the views wouldn’t be good but it was incredible anyway. It really was quite a windy day so it would probably be very smooth on a calmer day, but when we had a few turbulence bumps at the beginning the pilot reassured us that it was perfectly normal and no problem at all. Dress warmly! I wore capris, a long sleeved hoodie and a raincoat on top and I was just comfortable, still pretty cool but not freezing and definitely glad I had worn the raincoat on top, it would have been very cold otherwise. It was definitely a fantastic experience!

If you’re going to do a helicopter ride in Kauai, do it with DOORS OFF! It was so exhilarating! A once in a lifetime experience but I guarantee you’ll want to do it again! I went on this ride solo and sat in the front next to the pilot. He was very knowledgeable and it was nice to have some music and commentary to educate us along the way. The views were amazing! I highly recommend this company. I felt completely safe the entire time.

We were excited about our Doors Off flight. We had to cancel due to our Cruise Ship arriving later than expected. The company worked with us and we were able to reschedule. The views were amazing and the pilot was great! Highly recommend. All staff were very personable.

Max was a great pilot, telling us all about the island and the scenery, which was AMAZING. Much of it looked primeval. Many beautiful falls. It's a bit loud even with the headsets, but the door-less view is priceless. A+++

Super friendly people. Great pilot. Loved his narraration. Music he played was very fitting. I really can't recommend this more. You're missing out of you go on one of the other tours. This doors off small helicopter with only you and 3 other guests (plus pilot) provides an amazing one on a lifetime experience. Just make sure if you have long hair tie it back. Tie it back with like 3 ties. Tight. My hair tie came out and my hair was whipping my eyes and it looked like I had dreads when I got off the copter. Not their fault of course, just a word of advice.
