      This audio tour was the best money spent on our trip. We didn't recall the "guide" saying his name at the beginning so we just called him "Bob" for our entire vacation. :-) We played it through the car's speakers so it was easy to hear and see on the car's GPS as well as on my phone through the app. Anyway, Bob had lots of great stories to share about the island. He gave great suggestions on sites to go visit as well as local eats to try before you leave. We learned so much about the history of Kauai. We 100% recommend buying this audio tour.

      Better than the live tours taken since you can control it at your own pace. I learned more from this tour than any of the iother tours AND it's very affordable

      This is really great as it provides sites to see, cultural stories, and good directions. You can also choose to listen to all of them as you go along or skip over them. I Loved the options. I plan to try it for other locations.

      App contained some interesting stories and we all appreciated it being automatically triggered by the GPS. As others have noted, some items are dated (still mentions KMart) and we couldn’t help but wonder if a couple of the highlighted food/tourist stops may have been influenced by sponsorships. Worth a few dollars if you are traveling the island and are interested in hearing about what you are passing as well as the history of Kauai.

      In our opinion this is the best way to tour if you’ve rented a car. The narrative is fantastic, directions are easy to follow, and you’re totally in control of what you want to see and do. We wish this GPS self driving tour was available for more places such as New Zealand. By the way, dollar for dollar it is a much better value than other tours, regardless of budget.

      This audio tour was great. We turned it on as we were driving to different places and it picked up where we were and automatically played at certain points. We had planned to go to these places anyways but being able to hear about the history of Kauai as we were driving was very cool. It also had some cool recommendations (we went slightly out of the way to stop by spouting horn at the suggestion of the recording and we were happy we did!)

      This app is well worth the small fee. Audio tour gives you exact turn by turn directions to the best places to see and things to do. Some good stories, history, a even and few jokes along the way. Gives you suggestion on some foods to try, also. I really enjoyed using this app and highly recommend it for anyone visiting the island of Kauai.

      This was so cool! We loved it! We spent hundreds of dollars on other tours during our vacation in Hawaii, but none of them were as much fun and as thorough as this tour was, for a fraction of the price! We especially enjoyed being able to meander at our own pace and see only the things we wanted to. We will definitely use this app for other places as well!

      A Fun way to cruise around Kauai

      The narration of our drives around Kauai was informative and entertaining. I do think they need to update certain parts of the dialog. One section talked about Kmart (closed in 2018) being a a great stop before going to your lodging of choice, but Most of the narrative was spot on. it’s a great, fun way hear about various points of interest while behind the wheel. We detoured a few times based on what we heard on the app, and we weren’t disappointed. Definitely worth the money.

      This is an excellent and inexpensive way to see Kauai if you have never been and you are trying to figure out what to do first. We stayed in Kapa'a and did the south and west side before we got this. Our time was limited and this would have been nice b/c he gives you time to travel to different sites from your location. We only had a few days. The next day we hit the north and east side. Start early if you hit before afternoon showers. A little history thrown in. Nice job!

      I will always check for one of these self guided tours when my wife and I go on vacation. We have taken a number of group tours over the years. However, if we are in a place where it is easy to drive, we much prefer being on our own versus group tours. We saw (and learned about) everything we wanted to see and nothing we didn't.

      For a 70+ s-citizen this was very easy to download at our hotel prior to driving. It was also very user friendly during our frequent stops for swimming at different beaches along the drive. The roads are often unmarked and tricky in the rural parts of Kauai so the tour audio was super useful.
