We were staying in Railay Beach and we had to book a longtail boat to go back to Krabi to join this tour. It is an extra logistic and cost but we really enjoyed the whole trip. Everything was very well organized and even the lunch was quite good. We chose the option with kayak and I strongly recommend it! We could see Hong Island from the outside and explore better the lagoon. In this tour we had also the opportunity to see very colorful fishes around the Red Island for the fans of snorkeling. A fantastic way to know a little more of Thailand.

Great Trip

The snorkeling was amazing and my boys and I kayaked into the lagoon when the water was knee deep. I walked around barefoot in the lagoon while the boys paddled around and I took many photos. While kayaking back, we came a across a giant monitor about a meter long.

I forgot the tour guide name, but he is a nice tour guide. He is very take care of us and always have a smile on his face. The food which is including in the tour package was nice too, maybe we have no high requirements for the food but still enjoy! We are the first time to kayaking, very nice! Guys you should try!

The tour was well organized and pleasant. We opted out of the kayaking and it turned out to be a very good choice, because otherwise we wouldn't have had any time to enjoy the Hong Island. Lunch was ok - after reading the comments about people being pleasantly surprised, I expected more, but was good enough. The main con of this tour is that we didn't have enough time on Hong Island - just 1 hour for snorkeling before lunch and 30 minutes after lunch - we walked the trail. If you would like to spend more time on Hong Island, I suggest you take a boat directly to the island and stay there for the entire day.

The islands are pretty, the lunch is good - the “snorkeling” is NOT a highlight.Extremely rude guide, who actually yelled at fellow tourists on numerous occasions. We’ve been travelling for a while are are pretty laid back-but this exeprience left us wanting to jump overboard and swim back to dry land!

Driver arrived on time at hotel but the transport is overloaded with passengers. Then, the longtail boat broke down in the middle of the ocean and we had to wait for 40 mins instead of the 20 mins told by the tour guide. Lunch was below average for Thai food. The guide just sent us out to kayak with no supervision in the rough sea. It wasn't fun at all.

This was a good tour and Hong island is very beautiful and worth seeing. I have had better and friendlier tour guide, but he did his job.

The pick up was about 20mins late, apparently due to many people going on tours. First of all we were taken to a meeting point at Nopparat Thara Pier where about 100-150 people were waiting to get on boats for various tours. My group had about 25 people, so the Longtail boat was full. It took about 45mins to reach Paradise Island and we stayed there for about 35mins. Then we went to a lagoon 25 mins were everyone could swim if they felt like it and take photos. After this stop we went to Hong Island for about 2hrs where we had Thai food for lunch, and then we went kayaking around part of Hong Island 2 people per kayak and visited some isolated caves. The guide was great and took photos of everyone in their kayaks. We were scheduled to visit Red Island after this stop, but we were told that the water was too choppy and unsafe, so instead we had extra 20 mins on Hong Island for swimming. The flexible floating pier was a challenge to walk across at Hong Island, it felt like we were on a roller coaster and was hard to keep our balance as the waves moved the pier up and down. We then returned to Nopparat Thara Pier 45mins later and then transported by Tuk Tuk to our hotels. Overall the tour was ok, but the Islands were very crowded as I expected, but at least we got away from people when we went kayaking and Hong Island was also nice place for swimming. The guide was very hard working to make sure everyone was happy!

Small group tour of 6-8 people. Longtail is good for close trips but wouldn’t recommend for long ones. Guide was friendly and smart. Beautiful snorkel. Tip if you kayak you miss out on best snorkel at Hong island. Would repeat again

The tour was amazing! Our friendly tour guide from Krabi Kingdom, although he couldn't speak English well, did his best and made sure we were comfortable, safe and had a great time! And the lunch they served was delicious. Though the snorkelling part was a bit disappointing as we could hardly see much, perhaps as it was rainy season. But really big UPS to the tour guide! Highly recommended tour!

Pros - The tour and snorkelling were great, 5 stars, great scenery, saw lots of fish - Lunch was tasty Cons - The kayaking took us to a lagoon where the tour subsequently went, so it felt like a bit of a waste of money - Tour guide was occasionally rude to some of the tour group Review would be 5 stars without the two cons, which should be fairly easy for the provider to sort out

We loved this tour!!! The Company gives you ample time in Paradise Island and Hong Island, which are little paradises. Highly recommended.

This was just okay overall - good for the content, but everything else was less than stellar. We didn't follow the itinerary listed in this description at all. We got picked up in Ao Nang by songthaew on the tail end of my 8:30-8:50 window. We got dropped off at the pier amidst chaos of a billion people all transferring and being herded around. We were told to wait in one random area, and we hung out there for ten minutes before our tour guide came to talk to us. We didn't get into a longtail until close to 9:30. It was forty minutes to Hong Island I'm not sure we stopped at Koh Daeng at all, and by the time we got out and everything, it was 10:30 and he said we needed to be back by noon, only giving us an hour and a half there, not the 2 hours listed. A handful of us had signed up for kayaking, and our tour guide was remarkably unhappy at having to repeat his unclear direction on when and where we were doing this - actually yelling at us once that he told us once already, on board, on the noisy ship. Kayaking was very cool, although the lagoon didn't have much water in it because it was low tide - he seemed surprised by this, but it's not like the tides aren't known. It's about 2 km there and back, and a good little workout. I was annoyed because I was paired with the guide, being a solo traveler, and he at points completely stopped paddling at all. We had lunch at Paradise Island, which was pretty cool. We then also went to Koh Phak Bia for some reason we were all cold and only got off the boat because it was warmed in the water and then back to Hong Island for the lagoon where we were supposedly waiting out the storm. Nobody was getting out of the boat at this point. When somebody asked how long it would be back, perhaps with some wishful thinking that it might be less time with the winds or something, he snapped Same as the time here. And we're like ...okay, and if we've forgotten, could you please remind us? He was helpful with pulling down as much covering as he could for the guests stuck out by the spray, and asking people to move down so more people could get under cover, but he repeatedly said it was a bad weather day and we shouldn't have come, which makes me wonder who's making him run tours in dangerous weather. He handed out motion sickness medication after it became clear it was going to storm, but one poor woman was sick repeatedly on the way home. This could have been a GREAT experience if our tour guide wasn't so hostile about having to repeat himself when his English was minimal and was willing to explain more about what was going on and where/why we were going places, especially in the rain.

The tour was great, although the longtail boat was a very very long ride, almost 3 hours of the trip was on the boat. Tour guide was amazing and friendly, the kayak experience is definitely the highlight of this excursion. First time here in Krabi? Must do this, then you'll get a feel of it and know what to do next time when you return.

it was overall a wonderful experience and our guide Brown was very keen in interacting with us. Some portions of the trip were very touristy and hence very crowded but Brown amended the itinerary such that we would not be clashing with the whole mass of tourists on the islands.

This tour was amazing. The tour leader explained everything really well. Hong Island was incredible especially the kayaking to the Lagoon. It was great that the tour also brought us to Paradise Island. This was the best tour of the islands that I went on and would recommend this tour to anyone.

The highlight of our trip , amongst the many options this seemed like the best best option , and thanks to Krabi tours it actually turned out to be so. The boat was perfect and the guides were good, so was the equipment for snorkeling and Kayaking. A must do for families who want to spend quality time with some adventure
