Get picked up from your hotel in Ao Nang or Ao Nam Mao. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking. If you stay in Krabi Town, there is an extra fee of 250 THB per person (min 2 people) for the round-trip transfer which has to be paid on the day of the trip. If you stay in Klong Muang, there is an extra fee of 250 THB per person (min 2 people) for the round-trip transfer which has to be paid on the day of the trip. If you stay in Tubkaek Beach, there is an extra fee of 300 THB per car (min 2 people) for the round-trip transfer which has to be paid on the day of the trip. If you stay at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas, please take the hotel shuttle boat to Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang. If you stay at Railay Beach, we offer a pickup service from the boat ticket office at Ao Nam Mao Pier which is just a 15-minute longtail boat ride from Railay East. If you stay in Ton Sai, please come to the meeting point at Phra Nang Inn reception in Ao Nang. Pickup times for each zone: • Ao Nam Mao: 08:50 / 12:50 / 13:50 / 17:50 • Ao Nang: 08:30 / 12:30 / 13:30 / 17:50 • Klong Muang Beach: 08:00 / 12:00 / 13:00 / 17:30 • Krabi Town: 08:00 / 12:00 / 13:00 / 17:30 • Tubkaek Beach: 08:00 / 12:00 / 13:00 / 17:30
What To Expect
Choose a morning, afternoon, or early evening class on booking. Then, begin with pickup from your Krabi town or Ao Nang hotel, or for an additional cost, from your Muang and Tubkaek hotel.
Meet your professional chef, Ya, in the cozy cooking school in Ao Nang to learn classic Thai cooking. Start the class with choosing the best ingredients for your meal. Get an introduction to the country’s food, and discover the rich colors, delicate aromas, and spices that make the perfect Thai meal.
In the kitchen, try your hand at some traditional Thai dishes. Learn how to balance flavors and cook from scratch using classic utensils and techniques. Get guidance on making curry paste — an essential recipe base — and discover various herbs and spices as you grind them in a stone mortar.
Dishes will vary, but expect to try out favorites like massaman curry, spicy prawn soup, stir fried chicken, pad Thai, or others.
Once everything’s ready, savour your creations with your fellow cooks, and get feedback from Ya.
Then, take your leave, armed with your newfound skills so you can impress everyone back home. Your experience concludes with a hotel drop-off.

Ya’s cooking class was our favorite experience of the trip. We learned from amazing chef’s how to properly prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes. We made the best tasting food of the trip. They pick you up and drop you off when the class is complete. Bring your friends and family to join in on the eating.
Unforgettable and so much fun. The added recipe book as just the cherry on top. I will recommend this class to anyone coming to Krabi Thailand. You will not regret it.

A well rounded cooking class, had lots of good tips and tricks to take away, the food we made was just a whole another level of flavours and this is coming from someone who cooks asian food regularly. WOULD RECOMMEND 10/10

The class was fun and the staff were very friendly, however the main issue we had with the day is that you cook all your meals at once instead of making one and then going to eat it. As a result, half of the food was cold and inedible when it came to sitting down and you couldn’t enjoy it as much. The class was quite chaotic and you didn’t get to learn that much about the food in comparison to other cooking classes I have done previously. The staff obviously work very hard and they were helpful with the cooking.

Had a lovely evening at the Thai cookery school. Felt a little rushed as others have said, but it didn’t impact our overall experience. We were fortunate to be a class of just 4, which meant we received lots of attention. Rustic location was charming. Hostesses were lovely. Food was very tasty. We took our leftovers home as a takeaway and donated them to a homeless man on the street who was delighted with the windfall.
Look forward to using the recipe pamphlet to recreate some of the dishes once I get home.

Amazing experience, super lovely staff and delicious food. Definitely one the highlights of our trip to Thailand. Make sure to bug spray before going! And do not eat a lot before coming so you can fully enjoy eating everything there.
