Could have been better
Joseph_L, Oct 2023
Guano point, pontoon boat were great. Did not like skywalk. It’s a lot of hype and long waiting. Would have preferred spending more time at Guano. Felt rushed. Airplane started 1/2 hour later than stated even though we were all checked in. Return trip departure was late also even though we were all there. Better organization needed
Response from Host, Oct 2023
This review does not belong here in White Water Rafting. We do not use pontoon boats or offer Skywalk package. That is the West Rim Package. White Water when we had this option would place all rafters as priority and they would get to skip the line but we haven't offered that in a few years. I am sorry that your Skywalk adventure was not up to your expectations. I will pass on this review to the responsible individuals. Best Randy
White water rafting along the Colorado River with Hualapai community guides
Gina_G, Aug 2023
We left our Las Vegas hotel with Ron, who provided a comfortable drive and offered assistance with boarding, with refreshments, and a stop at a diner to gather our energy for the long day ahead. Upon our arrival at the Hualapai Indian community rafting headquarters in Peach Springs, we purchased rain ponchos due to the chilly weather that Hurricane Hilary left behind. Our white water rafting guide, LR, provided a thrilling ride along the class 3-6 rapids. We climbed three layers of rock hills to a refreshing cave waterfall with assistance from our local guides and opportunities for water and snacks. Near the end of the tour, we stopped for a quick picnic lunch and chatted with other travelers. The Grand Canyon White Water Motorized Rafting Trip offered by the Hualapai Indian community was Spectacular!!! The nature of extreme weather is problematic; therefore, sun gear and shoe protection is highly recommended.
Great Time

White water rafting at its best-must do trip
Cathy_G, Jul 2023
My husband and I were looking for an adventure tour while in Las Vegas. Boy did we find one. This was a great excursion. I was initially worried about the 4am pick up but our driver Ron was fabulous. We got to catch some sleep on the way to Peach Springs and we stopped for breakfast along the way. When we arrived at Hualapai reservation-everyone was so friendly. We boarded a bus and went on our first adventure ride down to the river. Our raft guide Kyle was so nice. He made sure we all felt safe while having an absolute blast. It was a terrific day. I absolutely loved it and would go again next year. This is a definite must do trip.
AWESOME TRIP!!!
Karen_O, Jul 2023
From the minute that Ron picked us up at the hotel, I knew that this was going to be an amazing trip. Never mind that it was 4:00 am and we were tired from the night before. Ron thoughtfully provided us with pillows and let us know that we could nap until we stopped for breakfast. We had a wonderful breakfast at Denny's (don't scoff....it was the best one I've ever been too, the food was great!). Once we woke up after our bellies were full, Ron gave us little bits and pieces of history until we got to the reservation lodge and met the rest of the group. I swear, our boat had the best of the group on it. They were all so adventurous, fun, and inquisitive. Our guide Dale, made sure that we enjoyed every minute of the trip. After SO MUCH FUN through part of the rapids, we stopped at the falls and walked/climbed up to the top, where there was a surprise second waterfall inside a cave. I could live there forever, it was so beautiful. We continued on, through some more rapids, which Dale made sure that we took full advantage of (one of them, he took us through twice). We then stopped for lunch at a litte beach, where some of the group took a swim. I've seen comments where people complain about the food... but what the heck? We're in the middle of a river in a canyon, there's no way to do anyhthing better than what we had - a sub sandwich (by the way was better than what I make), chips, veggies, soda or water (or both). Honestly, we enjoyed it! We continued on and then when it got too hot, we took a bit of a dip in the river (we floated along for about 1 - 1 1/2 miles). Very refreshing. We got back in the boat and floated the rest of the way, just taking in the breath-taking scenery and just thinking about the way the canyons were formed, what life must have been back when there was so much more water around, and seeing different carvings and etchings in the rock that made you wonder if those were really made by nature or if someone carved them. We saw letters, figures, an upsidedown triangle, what looked like a ship, all sorts of things in the sides of the canyon that made you wonder whether they were natural or man-made....We got back to the end point (very sad to be at the end...) and were greeted by Ron again who drove us back to the strip. Along the way he drove by the Hoover Dam, and we had a stop at a park that had Billy Goats that come down from the hills to graze during the day. There was a beautiful view of Lake Mead from the park. Ron was awesome, made sure that we were well hydrated and gave us fatherly advice about sunscreen before we started (we are fair-skinned). He was AWESOME!!! The trip couldn't have been better, we will definitely do it again!
The best and most in-depth views of The Canyon
Puran_P, Sep 2022
This is without doubt the best way to really experience the canyon. You get to meet the local. The rafting is not at all dangerous and super fun! The views are spectacular! I can honestly say that I experienced the Canyon and the people who preserve its natural beauty.
Be careful when scheduling your appointment.
Luis_N, Jul 2022
I made a scheduling area when booking my adventure. I quickly (within 3 to 4 minutes) tried to correct the mistake but the money was debited from the account and when trying to get in touch with the company to discuss options none were available. The bottom line was I was charge 600 and something dollars with no recourse. Beware at scheduling time if you make a mistake you will be severely penalized.
Response from Host, Jul 2022
Well another example of someone who doesn't appreciate great customer service. This season we only have 40 seats available instead of 96 that is why they there are so many sold out dates. When the booking came in at around midnight I saw that there were only 3 seats available. I knew if I waited to confirm the trip the trip would not have been there in the morning. I quickly confirmed the trip. 20 minutes later not 4 minutes as this understanding person says, He asked for a cancellation. When I confirm a booking inside of 30 days I am forced to pay for the entire trip to all vendors. Which I have now done. He's upset because I truly tried to give him the best service possible. In a normal season I would have been able to cancel him as I wouldn't have got to the confirmation until the next morning. I am sorry you are unhappy but giving me a 1 star for not even taking the tour is pedantic.
Everything and more!

Fun, exciting trip down the rapids, amazing waterfall. Our guide Chad, reminded me of McGyver. I would recommend this tour for sure.
Everything was...

Must do for those who love nature!
Patricia_M, Apr 2022
Must do if you enjoy being in nature. Rapids are fun and get you soaked. Views are simply amazing. Long drive from Vegas but van is comfortable and driver super fun. A great break from the crowds of Vegas.
Fun on the river
Joseph_M, Oct 2021
The walk up to the cave was great. Everything around all the way down the river was beautiful breathtaking.
Do it again!!!
Sandy_M, Aug 2021
This tour surpassed our expectations. The driver arrived on time and fully explained what to expect. Our guide, Elijah, was just amazing! It was a hot Fay in the Canyon but the cold river felt great, and going over the turbulence was thrilling! My friends and I would do this tour again in a second!!
Response from Host, Sep 2021

Response from Host, Aug 2021
Covid has made it a tough season on us all so we are very happy when families come out and have an adventure the way it was designed to be. Grand Canyon, Water, Rapids, Waterfalls, Route 66 it's like no other adventure out there. Thank you for your patronage and I look forward to seeing you next time. Randy

Excitement, Fun experience. Navigator was fantastic. Love our stops in the caves and waterfalls. Very cool adventure.
Response from Host, Jul 2021
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you and your family. We strive to have the best adventure possible from Las Vegas and surrounding areas. My favorite spot is the Mineral Springs Waterfall and rope ladder. I love the history of that area and the geologic formations that have developed over the centuries. Thank you for the great review and we look forward to seeing you on one of our other trips soon. Best to all. Randy
Amazing!

Amazing
Bita_M, Jul 2021
Took this activity this past Wednesday. Had too much trouble with the motor on the boat. The view and our driver, Ron, more than made up for it!
Response from Host, Jul 2021
Hi, Sorry to hear about the engine issues. It's been a bit more frequent this past season. Ironically it's due to Covid disrupting the supply lines for the Yamaha/Honda Outboard motors making the engines we use very difficult to procure. It's been getting better recently but it does seem the hotter it gets the more that particular issue appears. Thank you for your patience and understanding on the trip. Everyone wants the best outcomes everytime we take out on an adventure. Take care, Randy, Let's Go Tours.
Excellent trip.
Kenneth_P, Jul 2021
Excellent trip. Views and activity are great, all staff was wonderful. Only 1 complaint - tour was sold with helicopter exit, there was no helicopter
Response from Host, Jul 2021
Hi, yes some people that booked earlier in the year would have had the helicopter if chosen. Recently the dock has had some issues and they have cancelled the helicopter as they cannot land there. all together It's not worth it at the new $149 price they want to sell it at. We never sold it at the new rate. We had a few sales go thru at the old rate of 90.00 which you should get a complete refund for. Email me and I will make sure your refunded for your helicopter portion. I apologize for the inconvenience. Best, Randy
It was a wonderful , beautiful experience.
slagarde, Jun 2021
We loved the experience immensely. Our guides were very helpful , friendly , and taught us a lot about the area and the tribal culture. We loved the hike up to the falls , too. Our van drivers were also excellent. Our only issue - we thought we were to take a helicopter return trip. It’s not clear what happened to that plan , but we were looking forward to the flight. It was a very long day for us. But we were happy you found us an alternate carrier. Thanks to all of the DC9 ( I think) people who made it possible.
Response from Host, Jul 2021
Hi, yes the helicopter can be a bit of contention. It's just to get you out of the canyon not back to your starting point. This year they raised the price from 90 dollars to 140 dollars. Which is out of line for a six minute flight. We decided not to offer it any longer as it isn't worth it. If it brought you back to Vegas or even the starting point that would be great but that's not what it's designed for. It is available Thursday's thru Sunday each week but recently the dock area has issues and they have cancelled it for most of the season going forward. So issues with the helicopter never seem to go away. So we no longer offer it. I'm glad you had a great trip. Best to you guys. See you next itme, Randy
Must see the canyon from the bottom floor truly a must see and do .
John_M, May 2021

Aren't' the views just amazing. Everytime I get to go on a trip I always bring my camera looking for a new angle for a picture and I'm never disappointed. Thank you for your kind description. Regards, Randy
