Guido, our driver, met us promptly at the ship in his new shiny black Mercedes. What a great way to drive into Florence. Guido was so interesting and helpful. He is a Florentine native and knew so much about the history and interesting sites of the city. This was a great way to start our week in Tuscany.

Over all it worked out after we had a very hard time locating the driver. It took about a 1/2 hour to finally connect with the driver. The cruise ship bused us to a central parking lot and the driver was trying to get up close to the ship. Thank god for cell phones. The driver was very nice and got us safely to Florence.

We used Viator not only to transport us into Florence from the cruise ship and back but for tour through parts of Florence. Tour was good, guide very knowledgeable, but Ricardo, who transported us to and from Florence was WONDERFUL and he made the trip so very memorable!! Good English, good sense of humor and he educated us about the areas in which we drove. BRAVO FOR RICARDO!!!!!
