What To Expect

Your Doctor Who adventure begins mid-morning in central London. Meet your expert guide and set off to explore some of the city’s most interesting neighborhoods including the Borough Market, Southwark and the South Bank. Learn the history of this epic sci-fi show while visiting the key filming locations in the capital city.

You’ll see more than 15 new and old landmarks throughout the tour. Visit the site where the two Dalek factions battled in Remembrance of the Daleks and stop for a photo outside of the fictitious 10 Downing Street, featured in Aliens of London. Pass Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, site of the more recent episode The Shakespeare Code, and stop on John Adams Street to see where the Prime Minister’s fictitious house stood when it was infested by Slitheens!

As you walk, enjoy little-known secrets about actors like William Hartnell, Matt Smith and Christopher Eccleston – who brought the quirky character to life – and perhaps engage in a friendly debate about who made the best Doctor Who! Test yourself with entertaining trivia about the intergalactic time lord, his cutting-edge TARDIS time machine, and other signature characters like Clara Oswald and Madam Vastra.

I enjoyed our guide very much, his enthusiasm and tidbits he shared, even though my son is the Whovian, not me. I think the pace was fine for most attendees, but too fast for my 80 year old bones.

Fiona was a great guide as she is just as big as a fan as we were. The Tour was very interesting and held lots of inside- and behind the scenes facts, but also Facts about the actors and writers of the show. The length of the tour was fine, as time just flew by and I could have gone on all day! Because it was a very hot day, Fiona made sure to alsways find a space in the shade for us to stand in while she was doing her presentations. Definitely worth the price.

The tour guide was a total Dr. Who NERD!! Highest possible compliment there was a movie being filmed but he was able to move us around and give us a few insights into how things are filmed. Definitely a spring or summer day tour but the guide was fantastic!! Since Dr. Who isn't really filmed in London there are only a few spots to really visit but once again the guide still made it interesting.

Craig our Tour Guide was AMAZING! He had so much information not only about Dr. Who but about the London area. I am glad we took this tour early in out trip to London because we had people travel in to meet us later and I kept saying to them, I learned that on our Dr. Who tour. If youre a Dr Who fan you will love this tour. Dewi, our tour guide, was clearly a devoted fan and it showed in his attitude. He was entertaining and passionate in taking us through the different places in London where the series was filmed. Even if youre not a Dr Who fan I still would recommend this tour as you get to see a lot of places around London and Dewi also had a good knowledge of the general history of the areas covered.
