What To Expect

Your walking tour starts at the Southwark viewpoint, by Southwark Cathedral, where you'll meet your guide and be sorted into your Hogwarts house.

Then, set off on your journey around town, enjoying Harry Potter trivia quizzes from your guide along the way to earn points for your house. You also have the chance to use your spell knowledge to outwit members of other houses.

During your walking tour, pass by the London locations that inspired settings like Diagon Alley, and visit filming locations, including the bridge that was destroyed in 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.'

Walk along Charing Cross Road to follow in the footsteps of Deatheaters, visit the inspiration for Knockturn Alley, and see the location of the Ministry of Magic. Walk through Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, past St. Paul's Cathedral, and along the Thames, and see the Borough Market and London Bridge.

It is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

There is a short Underground journey on the tour - so a TravelCard, Oyster card or contactless payment card will be needed.
The tour lasts 2 hours and is approx 2km in length. The pace is very easy however, and there aren't many hills
This tour is guaranteed to run, no matter how many people on the tour
This tour begins at Southwark View Point. Between the river and Southwark Cathedral. The nearest station London Bridge.

Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
Please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the starting time in order not to miss the tour as it will be hard to catch up once arrived late.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Louis knew so much...

Louis knew so much background info about the books. Loved that insight. I was worried it would be aimed at kids, but it was actually mostly adults at the 7 pm. And we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Easy way to get all your Harry Potter London needs

A very fun way to take up a little bit of your day when visiting London. If you are a Harry Potter fan, this is good fun. Nice way to see all the different filming locations, inspiration, and fun facts about HP, JK Rowling, and general London facts. Enjoyed the fact that the tour didn’t take very long—no more than two hours. It started our very full day in London. Great for families. Nick, our guide, was so kind. He provided a lot of fun facts, trivia, and recommendations. Thank you Nick for a very nice day from two potter fans!

Great for Harry Potter fans

My kids are big Harry Potter fans so this was a great tour for them, a lot of fun seeing some of the sights from the movies. Our guide Luke was great at pointing everything out and showing us the scenes on his iPad so everyone can understand. The tour goes through some busy places in central London, and you have to keep up with the group, but Luke always made sure everyone was accounted for, and projected his speech so we could all hear. The tour has a short ride on the Tube. I recommend this tour for any Harry Potter fans!

Fun trivia questions along the way. Our guide seemed very knowledgeable about Harry Potter. The meeting point was a little confusing for us as we are not familiar with London so glad we left very early to get there. At times it was hard to see the Ipad that he had scenes from the movie.

Lucas was awesome and friendly! He quizzed our knowledge of Harry Potter and showed us film shots on his iPad while we toured the actual spots. I thought that was very cool! Fabulous Walk in London along Famous Harry Potter locations

I did this walking tour for a second time, with my 10 year old daughter. We had Louis this time and Hannah last time. It was a really fabulous 2 1/2 hours, packed with lots of quiz questions (which my daughter loves) and lots of fascinating information on the books and the making of the films. Both of the guides, Hannah and Louis were absolutely brilliant and made it a fantastic experience. They used iPads to show scenes from the films which were relevant to each of the sites. A great afternoon and excellent value for money. I think we will do it for a third time on our next trip to London !! A big thank you to Louis (this week) and Hannah (last year).

Very enjoyable walking tour seeing some of the Harry Potter London locations. Our guide Louie was excellent. Engaging and knowledgeable. If you’re a fan of the Harry Potter films it is a must. Even if you’re not Louie did a nice job of pointing out other interesting sites not necessarily ‘Potter’ related.
