What To Expect

Meet your ghoulish guide near Green Park Station under the cover of darkness. Your first stop is Berkeley Square, home to what’s allegedly the most haunted house in London, after which you'll creep through the most frightful Royal Parks.

Then, board a cruise on the Thames River, that reveals the British capital when it’s illuminated in all of its glory, and which offers views of landmarks like the Tower of London—famous for its grisly executions and macabre tales.

After you disembark, you’ll listen to more spooky tales about St. James's Palace before saying goodbye to your group at Tower Hill Station.

Very good tour made great by our guide Marvin. He is clearly passionate about the topics discussed and throws in a bit of humor to keep it interesting. I appreciated the bit of downtime on the boat to Tower Hill as well. All in all, a great tour!

Marvin was fantastic!! Perfect delivery. Great story teller. The boat ride was a nice break from the cold and rain. Not too scary though I would only bring tweens or older. Give Marvin a raise!

The tour guide was nice and pleasant, but the tour was boring and not spooky. I felt like the tour just kept dragging on and on. The boat ride is the Uber Boat Ride, which takes you from St. James Park to the Tower of London. There was no commentary on the boat ride.

This tour was fantastic and such a fun way to see the city! Francis was such an engaging storyteller, appealing to all ages. My 9 year old son loved the tour so much he wanted to go visit some of the haunted places the next day to see if he might spot a ghost :) Would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys spooky stories and wants to explore London!

Marvin was an excellent and exciting storyteller, all of of the tour was enjoyable. Really enjoyed walking around London. It’s 2.30 hrs, and it was a bit chilly, nobody’s fault obviously, but quite a few needed a quick toilet break! One toilet available when we got on the boat was queued. I would highly recommend the tour and ask for Marvin!

Marvin our tour guide was amazing. My, now fiancée, and I actually got engaged after our tour in January (bit weird I know, our first date five and a half years ago was actually a ghost tour so that's why I picked this). I didn't know where I was going to pop the question but Marvin showed me this beautiful little spot near the Tower of London with an amazing view of Tower Bridge. So so grateful for his help. Tour was amazing too but the ending made it extra special.

Ghosts, Ghouls, and Gallows was the best walking tour I have EVER been on. Marvin intelligent, a great story teller, and he added just the right amount of humor. He’s more hilarious than he knows. :) I absolutely loved the tour and despite the pouring rain, Marvin made the tour exciting. Maybe the rain added to the spooky atmosphere!. I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves ghosts or who wants to learn about the history of London. Marvin is awesome. I may or may not have actually seen a ghost on this tour. I would do this tour again iIf (when) I return to London and I would hope Marvin still leads it.
