A brilliant evening delving into the history of Jack the Ripper

My first memory was of being greeted by a very friendly and bubbly young lady called Anna, who was leading the tour. It was a lovely warm, sunny evening in East London. We were in a group of around 15 people, who were all chatted with each other, and all engaged with the tour guide. We were safely escorted around Whitechapel, Aldgate, and the Brick Lane area, walking on the cobblestones that Jack and his victims would have walked over 130 years ago. The two-hour tour flew by as our Tour Guide Anna made it so interesting, even funny and memorable with her extensive knowledge of the Jack the Ripper murders. We were so engrossed with her story telling, we could almost feel that we were back in Victorian London. My wife and I enjoyed every minute of the fascinating story of Jack, Mary and the other poor ladies of the night and would recommend anyone with an interest of Victorian London to come on this tour, especially if Anna was leading it.

Great tour, very interesting. London in the 1880’s brought to life by our guide Nic. The tour took us into the square mile where one of the victims was found.

This was a fun / easy tour. We covered all the important sites in 2 hours, with a good overview of the history. The instructions to find the tour were clear and accurate. Our tour guide Nic was pleasant, knowledgeable and fun. The tour group wasn't too big or small.

The Ripper Tour

A very interesting and engaging tour with lots of details about the case and a genuine sympathy towards the victims of the ripper. The tour was a good length with easy walking and the guide Ivan was excellent and clearly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the subject.

Sadly, although we were booked on this trip we weren’t able to find the guide at the meeting point. Post code took us to the wrong place. We phoned the number on the booking and left 2 messages. None of which have been responded to. No one contacted us to see where we were. They did have contact details We engaged with the chat bot on the booking who was helpful but unable to put us in contact with the guide. We are therefore requesting a refund for this tour

this was a great experience through East London. Our guide - Jack R. - was great and at times, we felt transported to the late 1800's, particularly in some of the older areas we visited during the tour. Jack is very knowleadgeable and does a great job explaining the history in a very clear way. The area is a very interesting one, with many middle eastern shops and restaurants. A great turksih bakery across from the park that serves as the meeting point. Highly recommend!

Jack really brought the sad story to life, which he did with respect to the victims. It was interesting walking the streets of London, like I have done many times, with a new set of eyes. He pointed out features that you would normally just walk past.
