  • Please exchange your voucher for tickets with staff at the main admission points of the Cathedral.
  • No bags or items larger than 45cm x 30cm x 25cm (including handles, wheels and pockets).
  • Personal non-flash photography is permitted inside the Cathedral except on the Whispering Gallery. The recording of video and the use of lighting, selfie sticks, tripods and monopods are not permitted.
  • Child ticket holders (available to those aged 6-17) must be accompanied and supervised by an adult aged 18 or over when accessing the Dome Galleries.
  • Please note: Special services or events may close all, or part, of the cathedral at short notice. Please check specific sightseeing opening hours before you visit.
  • Multimedia guides are included. If you are interested in a real tour guide at certain times a day you are able to reserve a place at the guiding desk when you arrive at the cathedral. It is not possible to make reservations in advance.
  • Entry into the Cathedral is accessible to wheelchair users and step free access is available throughout and between the Cathedral Floor and Crypt. However access to the Dome Galleries is unavoidably via stairs only which are narrow and steep in places. A video of the views from the climb can be found on the multimedia guide.
  • A self-identifying disabled person may receive free entry along with a carer or necessary companion (all such free places are allocated on arrival and cannot be booked).
  • You do not need to pre-book an entry timeslot.
  • Entrance to the Golden Gallery is subject to availability due to capacity controls in operation, and there may be time restrictions in place.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers

      Beautiful chapel! We did the self guided tour which was very interesting and informative. With our tickets, we were able to climb the stairs to see the views of the city.

      The tour guide seemed unwell as he could barely speak above a mumble and had to constantly either sit or lean. This was more a tour based on his personal opinions rather than one based on historical facts. We only saw monuments and the tour did not include either the galleries or the crypt. Really disappointing.

      Couldn’t get the tickets to come up to scan luckily admissions let us in after a delay and waiting in ticket line when we already had tickets.

      Unfortunately ran out of time to get back to the church. Was at the Tower of London longer. Did however walk around the Cathedral on Sunday. Heard the bells.

      It was a fun experience to be able to hike up to the dome. Make sure to wear some good shoes if you plan to make the hike up. Lots of stairs.

      Beautiful magnificent setting. Easy to walk around quiet and serene we walked over the millennial bridge and it was right there. Clean bathrooms and a nice cafeteria for a light snack

      Beautiful Cathedral. Need to be in shape to climb stairs to the whispering Gallery. There is a lift but it didn't work. Can't take pictures from the gallery.. Steps are quite steep. Beautiful architecture and paintings.
