What To Expect

Visit both Oxford and Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter in just one day with this combo tour from London.

Make your way to the outside of Gloucester Road Tube station in the morning to board your air-conditioned coach for the 2-hour drive to Oxford.

Enjoy a 1-hour guided walking tour of Oxford, passing highlights like the Radcliffe Camera, Christ Church College, and the Bodleian Library. You’ll then have 1 hour of free time before boarding the bus for the 1-hour journey to Warner Bros. Studios.

You’ll have around 4 hours at Warner Bros. Studio. See original costumes, props, and sets such as Platform 9 ¾ and Diagon Alley as well as the Hogwarts Express Train; learn how the books were brought to life on the screen; discover behind-the-scenes secrets; and shop for souvenirs.

The tour ends back in London, at the original starting location.

It is a good idea to wear appropriate footwear as there is walking involved on our tours. There will be a 45-60 minute walking tour in Oxford which will take place outside. England is known for its rain so it is advisable to bring a waterproof jacket or umbrella with you.

Loved our experience with Rachel and touring Oxford with Chris. It was a full day but it flowed nicely. Oxford tour is fairly short which gives you time to explore on your own for about an hour. The Harry Potter experience is very cool! Parts of it got a little crowded but overall it was all cool to see.

It was a great day! Oxford was incredible, the tour guide was wonderful. Our tour host was so pleasant and knowledgeable. I loved the quick English histories she shared while we were driving. It was so great to have the same bus take us to the various places! Made the day so much better and easier.

I had an amazing day with Andrew as my tour guide! He was so knowledgeable and such a great storyteller! Andrew made Oxford come to life. He also threw in a bunch of Harry Potter facts and fun Emma Watson stories too! The Harry Potter Warner Brothers Studio Tour was absolutely amazing; there is nothing like it out there. Couldn’t have had a better experience!

Nick and John were great guide/driver’s for the day! Pick up spot was a bit confusing. Would recommend changing pick up spot to “In front of Bigos Singapore Restaurant.” Pro tip: bring a rain jacket or umbrella for Oxford!

We took the Oxford and Harry Potter tour- it was a terrific day. Our tour guide, Toby, was knowledgeable, fun and warm. He gave us about an hour tour of Oxford telling us about the history of the university and then also showing sites that inspired authors like C S Lewis and JR Tolkien and also showed us sites where scenes from Movies had been filmed (Harry Potter, etc) and then we were given time on our own to explore, eat and shop. We then got back on the bus and went to Harry Potter Studios where he gave us tips on the studio and assisted us with entry but we were left to explore on our own. It was fantastic! We spent a full 4 hours there (taking a lot of family pictures) and honestly, could have even done an hour more! There are several photo spots you must wait in a brief line for your turn, we had lunch and drank butterbeer and then enjoyed the back 1/2 of the studio. We then reported back to the bus to return to London. It was truly a wonderful day!

Toby was an excellent guide with lots of stories. I booked this tour as i was unable to get tickets to making of harry potter directly. The day starts of with a trip to Oxford which is beautiful, and a nice little visit, and then you drive to Warner bros. You get roughly 3-4 hours at Warner brothers - and there is a LOT to see. If you are a real potter fan you may want more time. It is a great day out and a lot of fun.
