    You can also put in Kihei Boat Ramp in Google Maps. Parking is free and you park at one of the two parking lots above the lot where the boats/trailers are. Look for the big red boat for check-in. Please make sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to departure - show up at 6:30AM, departure at 7.

What To Expect

Spend your day in Maui enjoying an up-close encounter with the island’s diverse marine life during this snorkeling adventure to some of the island’s top sites. You’ll stop by Molokini Crater and Turtle Town, allowing you the chance to spot a wealth of tropical fish, rays and Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles.

Check in for your day’s snorkel adventure early in the morning at the Kihei Small Boat Ramp. Skim over the waters near Maui in a speedy, eco-friendly military-inspired raft, heading first to Molokini Crater. This crescent-shaped crater is all that remains of a volcanic eruption millions of years ago. Today it plays host to a wealth of marine life like rays and tropical fish. 

Thanks to your early start time, you’ll likely be the first boat at the site, ensuring an uncrowded snorkeling experience. Enjoy a continental breakfast before jumping into the water. Visibility at this top-notch diving and snorkeling site often exceeds 180 feet (55m), ensuring you clear sight lines all the way to the bottom. If you want to relax, feel free to take a break on the boat’s comfortable pontoons for some sunbathing. Then head to the backside of Molokini Crater, a snorkel site few visitors ever see.

Leave Molokini behind as you head to your next snorkel spot at ‘Turtle Town,’ stopping on the way to see some recent lava flows at La Perouse Bay, a favorite habitat for Hawaiian spinner dolphins. Arrive at your final snorkel site, ‘Turtle Town,’ where you’ll have a chance to swim with the gentle Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles that inhabit the area. When you come back up, dig into a deli lunch before returning back to your departure point in Maui.

We loved every minute of this snorkel trip! Our guides were amazing and really provided top notch service. We were able to see all sorts of fish, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and we even spotted a Humpback whale! The lunch was perfect after all of the swimming and the music/boat ride was so much fun. So grateful for this trip! (P.S. My husband's not a strong swimmer so the team helped him get used to the water with floating devices which really allowed him to have a wonderful experience!) Mike and his colleague were awesome!

The crew was amazing. They made the day. We visited 3 snorkeling sites and were allowed as much time as we needed. The smaller group, the speedy pontoon boat and the blue hawaiian waters made for a great experience.

Toni and Allie were the absolute best! They were very professional and ensured our safety while also being highly personable with great senses of humor! I got sea sick and they also made sure that I was ok and able to still have a good experience! Every snorkeling spot was full of marine life, history, and adventure! Highlight of our trip thus far! The description of this tour was delivered above and beyond. I’m still taken back with the experience, particularly the backside of Molokini - just amazing! My husband’s favorite was the sea turtles. So glad we went with Redline. They showed great care for our safety the entire time, a wealth of knowledge regarding Maui and our different snorkeling spots, and were fully-focused on ensuring everyone had the best time. Safe, fun-filled excursion that my entire family adored. Worth leaving earlier to beat the crowds. It’s worth the extra money to have a smaller group & faster boat so you can stop at more places. My teenagers enjoyed the fast boat ride as much as the snorkeling. Very knowledgeable & friendly guides as well.
