Overview

Learn to cook Colombian fare while helping out the local community by booking this small-group experience. You'll start with a guided walk, learning about Medellin, before making your way to your community kitchen, that's used as a training center to help people learn how to cook professionally. You'll then learn how to prepare traditional Colombian dishes, which you'll get to enjoy at the end of your class.

    We meet outside the Miraflores tranvía station on Calle 51A, or if you are coming by taxi/uber, you can get dropped off at the corner of Calle 51A and Carrera 28, at the traffic light. I'll be in my chef jacket so you can identify me!

We had the best time in the cooking class/tour. Learning about local and international cuisine, as well as healthy recipes and alternatives was a great experience. Brian was a great host.

Really nice experience learning cooking and also about how the host uses cooking to bring positive social impact to the community. Also cool learning how the project started from the scratch. Food was really tasty too, also learned some cooking tips haha. Highly recommended this!

This class was truly an experience. Cooking, surprisingly, was not what I enjoyed most. I enjoyed our host’s anecdotes of life in Medellín and how his experience throughout the world has shaped his vision of food and its purpose. A technical cooking class to showcase the foods of Medellín? Yes, but also so much more. You will not regret it.
