Daniel was the most amazing tour guide. He is so incredibly knowledgeable in so many subjects. we learned so much during our tour. He was always super accommodating and kind. Guatape was beautiful and so was el Peñol and Daniel took us also to the most amazing restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and would highly recommend to anyone else that they book this tour!

Great excursion, request a bigger car if you are a group of 4

We had a great time at the coffee plantation and our guide Juan was great. The only negative was they sent a Volkswagen Jetta for 4 of us and the 2-hour drive each way was very tight and uncomfortable. If they had sent a bigger vehicle it would have been a perfect experience

A lovely day in Guatape!

I had a lovely tour experience with Juan. We were lucky enough to do the tour on a Wednesday so Guatape was quiet and not crowded. This is an ideal way to see the town, and El Penol. One was very knowledgeable about the history of the town. I also appreciated his excellent driving skills. He was friendly, but respectful, and as a female soul traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable. I highly recommend.

This day excursion from Medellin was the perfect mix. We had enough time to do everything we wanted and the tour guide was more than accommodating to our needs. We visited Colombia for 10 days and some of our best photos came from this excursion. We had a great time!

Amazing Tour with Juan

Juan was our guide for the day and we enjoyed an informative tour with him at our own pace. His English is excellent and he shared a wealth of knowledge and his love of soccer/football with us, which my husband appreciated. We went on a weekday to avoid the crowds at the rock. The tour ended with a delicious local lunch. We highly recommend this tour and Juan who did an amazing job showing us the beautiful sights of Guatape. It's well worth the money for a private tour.

Long but satisfying adventure.

This adventure is well worth it - Juan was great and accommodating to both Spanish and English. Picked up and dropped off at my location. Along the way we stopped to have some amazing street empanadas, the coffee tour was super informative and delicious. Greatest challenge and accomplishment was climbing the 750steps to the top of Guatape 🪨. Juan recommend a delicious restaurant in Guatape town.

Great experience! Juan was our tour guide and he did a wonderful job. His English is great and he has had a very interesting life. We went to the coffee farm first and met Miller Marin, whose family has been farming coffee for three generations. His is a small operation dedicated to farming high quality coffee beans. After that we went to El Penol (the rock) and had an awesome climb. Lastly, we strolled around the quaint throwback town of Guatape and had lunch at a nice grill place. All in all - an amazing way to spend the day in such a beautiful part of Colombia.

The tour was FANTASTIC! Juan Camilo was wonderful. Giving insights into everything related to Guatapé and the surrounding areas. Fun, relaxed and knowledgeable. Lula at the coffee farm was AMAZING! Hilarious, charming and very well versed in the coffee making process. 10 out of 10 recommend.
