      A fabulous Mexico City experience!
      Catherine_H, Apr 2024
Our guide, Andres, was wonderful and did a great job of teaching us about the history of Luche Libre. Also fun and informative was the mezcal tasting. The whole evening was a blast!
Highlight of our trip to Mexico!
      Monica_M, Apr 2024
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Mexico! We had a fantastic tour with Andres-trying mezcal, learning about Luche Libre and watching a Luche Libre show. I would highly recommend booking this tour for a fun night out in Mexico City!!
      Fun night in CDMX
      Kenzie_H, Apr 2024
Andres is an excellent guide and very personable. We had an amazing time, even better than expected, and really enjoyed the cultural information Andres shared throughout the night and his guide style. We spent about an hour tasting 5 mezcals which was very fun and “prepped” us for lucha libre, then another 2 hours watching the show, which was incredible. It’s about an hour walking total, with multiple stops along the way. Highly recommended!!
      Super fun evening

We had a great time! Our guide, Andres, was fun and informative. The mezcal tasting was wonderful and we learned so much about the history and process of how it’s made. The Lucha Libre matches were awesome! Highly recommend this tour!
      Best lucha libre experience!
      Kelly_B, Mar 2024
We had the best time on our tour with Andres! He was friendly and entertaining and knew a ton about lucha libre. Taking a tour was definitely the way to go- watching lucha libre without knowing anything about it wouldn’t have been nearly as fun! We also loved the mescal tasting ahead of time. Andres walked us through a beautiful park to a cute mescal bar where a very knowledgeable bartender poured us the mescal and taught us a ton. We also got snacks and drinks for our kids. (12 and 14). There is a lot of walking (to the arena) and it was a long night, so be prepared for that. There were 6 of us- kids to grandparents- and we all had the best time with Andres!

Excellent time with Andrés as our guide. We took 2 kids (9 and 11) with us. Andrés accomadated them throughout and got them really excited about lucha libre before the matches. We had great seats in the stadium and a really fun time overall.

Great experience with an outstanding guide
      Kristina_C, Mar 2024
This was a wonderful tour which combined an opportunity to learn about artisanal mezcal from a very knowledgeable mezcal sommelier and then enjoy the unique experience of Lucha Libre. The two experiences were brought together in the best way by the convivial and expert guidance of Andres. His knowledge and experience were apparent but his humour and obvious love of Lucha Libre were what made the difference in making our dive into Lucha Libre so unforgettable!

A fun & colourful Mexican experience
      Dianne_A, Feb 2024
Loved everything about our night. The mezcal tasting was fun & informative & the opportunity to taste the little crickets was a bonus. Andres gave us a great insight into the wrestling & fast tracked our entry into the stadium. Our seats were close to the ring. He even helped us to get home at the end of the night.

Want to waste time and money? Take this tour.
      Allison_T, Feb 2024
Avoid this tour. Our tour started late which set the tone from the jump. Our guide Andres was nice and knowledgeable enough, but he dragged on and on with every piece of information. The coordination was a mess. We started far from the mezcal tasting and that bar was really far from the lucha Libre arena. During our journey Andres would stop every 300 feet to give more information on lucha Libre and his short career in it. Our group had a younger boy in it and Andres entertained EVERY ONE OF HIS QUESTIONS and stories. Nothing like waiting for a 10 year old to finish explaining his wrestling experience next to 4 lanes of prime time traffic. Take side streets and give us more information in fewer stops. I thought things would get better when we finally arrived at the arena, but women had to enter in a separate line and there was a heavily intoxicated man molesting the women in line. I'm not exaggerating, he touched me and another woman while Policia, security and ex- lucha Libre Andres just stood by and did nothing. Once inside we discovered we missed the first match. As the matches went on the men in the audience get much more intoxicated and vocal with their filthy comments. Please do not bring your children if they speak Spanish. We had enough and left before the event was over. This was such a disappointment.
      Response from Host, Feb 2024
Avoid this tour if you have certain characteristics – as being bitter about anything (or if you have a “the-world-is-against-me” attitude). 1. The meeting point and starting time is clear, but it happens that someone from the group makes a mistake and delays the tour. Solution: do a private tour next time. 2. This is a walking tour – you should expect to walk. No surprises there. Solution: next time read the description before book any tour. 3. Why book a tour if you don’t want to learn about the tour’s theme? Solution: next time just buy tickets for the event, you may enjoy it much better. 4. THANK YOU! You just told everyone that this is A TOUR SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN – if they ask questions, expect that the child will get an answer. 5. Sorry to hear that you don’t consider children a traveler. I imagine this is the way you were raised. It is a shame. 6. To go into the Arena, there is a security filter. Police men check men, policewomen check women. Is there a surprise there? 7. If you were molested, you should have reported it! Neither police, security, nor your guide have eyes everywhere. 8. Lucha Libre is a place to scream, enjoy and have fun. If you expect that the crowd remain silent, then go to the opera. Maybe, with a bad attitude, you will also have some problems there, but you will have a silent crowd. 9. The group felt much better after you left – this is something that they actually told the guide. 10. It is a disappointment that you came to Mexico and didn’t have fun.

Cheers to Andrés for being a wonderful guide to all things Lucha! Not only did I learn more about the best wrestling on the planet, but the mescal tasting was delicious, and the masks were received were high quality. Highly recommend!
