I’d give this more stars if I could! We had such a wonderful time and so appreciated the guides’ knowledge, love of the city and sport, and overall vibe. It was fun and laidback. The tacos were delicious, and we loved getting our masks! Very much enjoyed the history of the fighters as well. Highly recommend this tour!

Definitely an experience seeing the wrestling! I had never seen wrestling at all before and I’m not sure it’s my thing, but it was a fun cultural experience. The tour guide was nice and informative met at a bar and then had street tacos for dinner- very good . Then the show. Only quibble is that there was one couple that was so late we stayed sitting at the bar for maybe 1.25 hours, then quickly ate and didn’t make it to match on time. Had no idea what time it started so I wasn’t worried about being late, but it turns out we were late.

Good time at Lucha Libre with a great bunch of fellow travellers. Meeting point was easy to find and drinks provided- beer and mezcal. A little disappointed as it felt a bit disorganised. Think we arrived late to the lucha libre as was only inside for about 3 flights. This could have been because the taco street stall took a while to serve us.

Lucha Libre is a must do in Mexico City. I went with this tour due to the reviews and I knew that event is in a rather poor part of town. Tacos were go. You can go for seconds or thirds id you were hungry. Drinks and mezcal provided. Various mask to select from. The arena was kinda empty but it was Sunday. The overall show was good to experience. Lots of culture and history learned by going.

Super fun night of beer, mescal, tacos, and Lucha Libre!

We had a group of about 15 people and everyone seemed to have a great time! I know I did! Started with beer and mescal at a little cantina, then we had a couple plates of street tacos. The seats for the wrestling were good and it was a fun match! Gabby and Gabor we're great hosts. They told us who the wrestlers of the masks we selected were and gave us the scoop on Luche Libre lore. Its a great social event for a solo traveler!

Lucha Libre was fun!

This tour was the perfect opportunity to experience Lucha Libre for the first time. If we would have gone by ourselves it wouldn’t have been so much fun. Gabriel, our tour guide, introduced us to some yummy tacos and mezcal at a typical Mexican Taqueria, talked to us about Lucha Libre’s history and took us as a group to the show. I recommend this tour!!!

Gabriel our tour guide was patient and attentive. He called out a snag with seating one day prior to give us a chance to change our reservation if needed but we decided to go ahead. Glad we did. Decent tacos, great mezcal and wonderful wrestling show!

Biggest waste of money

This was the worst travel event I have booked through an agency. You will pay $50-$60 per person and in return you will get a small maybe half shot of mezcal, value like 20 pesos $1.10 ish.. then you’ll get 3 tacos valued at 50 pesos, about $2.50. The best part is you will get a ticket to the event that costs 80 pesos, $4 give or take. On top of the colossal waste of money, you arrive late to the luncha event missing almost an hour due to the prior events starting close to the start time of 730pm. Overall, terrible experience and will cancel my future Viator events.

Due to the holiday season it was difficult to get the tickets we are used to, however to make up for it we offered you all you wanted to drink and eat as well as a drink inside the Arena. We follow an itinerary that we have to respect as its no a private tour, so we requested a start time. We would have loved for you to arrive on time so we could have offered you, like everyone else, more mezcal, beer, drinks, tacos and be on time for the show, but we couldn't make the others wait any longer (you arrived more than half an hour late). We still offered you everything and gave you the best service even though we delayed the group for you. Our prices in addition to all that is included, is our service, to facilitate getting the tickets as well as the accompaniment all the time. I repeat that we regret the bad experience but it is not fair to us a comment like the above for this tour that we do with love. Thank you for your feedback, it always makes us improve.

We loved this tour with Gaby. She was a wealth of knowledge and a lot of fun. Meeting place was easy to find and she made sure we got back into an area with open access to an Uber. We had a group of 6 including a local who hadn't been to a match since he was a kid. Beer was cheap, arena was great atmosphere. We got to see Mistico fight on a Tuesday night so it was a great time. Fun show and worth every penny.

The guides were very friendly and organized. They gave us some history of Lucha Libre, taught us to swear and took us to some delicious tacos. I got extras. Mezcal came before tacos so maybe eat something before you arrive at the event. The guides were clearly very passionate about Lucha Libre which made the whole thing more fun. We had a fun group and the lucha libre match was so much fun. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely the best time go on this excursion

Hands down the most fun excursion I had on Mexico city. Go to this one. We met at a restaurant where we were all given wrestling masks to keep, then fed amazing tacos and finished it w mezcal. There was a diverse group of young and old and most never watched wrestling but we all had a good time. After we got tickets and had an amazing view of the matches. I've gone to professional wrestling matches in the states, but never was this close to the action. The two guides, Gabriel and Gabbie were very knowledgeable about lucha libre. They were able to explain what was going on to those with no experience and you could tell they were wrestling fans. They took out safety into high regard bc the neighborhood where the arena was could be sketchy. Afterwards they gave us time to shop for wrestling souvenirs. There was laughter, excitement and learning and was absolutely the most fun time I've had.

Underwhelming experience

The experience didn’t justify the price. Taco spot we went to before the wrestling match was bad. We went on a Sunday and the match itself was underwhelming with half the arena being empty.

So much fun. Gaby was on time(early even) . She is a true fan and even doing training for Luche Libre. The tacos were sooo good. Gaby was so organized getting us in and out of Arena thru all the chaos around. She was happy to answer all our questions and got us safely on our way home.

We booked this tour super last minute (day of). It started out with 3 mezcal tastings at a local bar, then we ate some tacos at another spot. The tour ended off with lucha libre at a local arena. We sat at the balcony section, which was very lively and still very close to the ring. Both guides were super knowledgable about lucha libre and mezcal, and it was so great to spend time with them. Would 100% recommend!!
