Omg this was an awesome tour! It's a great way to experience the food and culture of Mexico City. The tour centers around historic downtown Mexico city. The tour is a food eating tour and you are fed A LOT! DONT EAT BEFORE THE TOUR. The cool thing is that the restaurant and walking to each eatery, you get to see and understand the neighborhood and the architecture, as well as the cultural development of the neighborhood. It is very colorful and if you didnt stay in the historic center, you will want to after this trip. We just didn't go to restaurants, but types of restaurants like Oaxan food, then going to a huge market place trying exotic foods and then fruits. We then went to a street vendor, and a bar and then tapas, and finished with candies. Our tour guide Jimena and her assistant Kieni were amazing and knowledgeable. A must to fully experience Mexico city. Although it was 5 hrs it didn't seem like it

Enjoyed the history along with the food choices. The San Juan market was amazing to experience! Our guide was excellent, but sometimes she spoke too fast and I was unable to catch each word.

It was a busy Saturday on a hot March day in Mexico City but due to our interesting and attentive guides it was very enjoyable indeed. The group was small (7 people) so we could hear our guide and not get lost in the crowds. Everything was well planned - our food hosts were ready for us and service was fast. The guide and her “shadow” were friendly and knowledgable about not only the food but also the historical sights we passed. I did find five hours a bit long and was very tired at the end. One fewer stop might be better.

We had a wonderful time touring the neighborhood with Jiumena(sorry if I misspelled!). She was so engaged and loved what she does that we all felt her positive energy. It was fun trying new foods and learning a lot about the different methods for cooking. Would highly recommend this tour as it’s also a great way to see the Historic part of the city.
