I loved our guide, the context she gave us made all the difference, so we could truly participate in the fun.
Loud, crazy, and so much fun. 100% recommend

Awesome tour! We started off at a bar with a dance floor and life salsa music where we had some drinks and danced. Then we had an introduction about what to expect from lucha libre and how we as the audience should participate to get the most out of the show. Followed obviously by the spectacle itself which was heaps of fun, much more than I expected. Big thanks to David for showing us such a good time!
Fun night out at Lucha Libre

Easy to find group. Tour leaders were great. Met some other tourists. Got to attend the Arena with a large group versus going alone with just my partner, which provided some comfort. Easy in and out of Arena. Area around Arena not bad. Would recommend for the experience.

I enjoyed the experience! Our tour guides were very informative and made sure we were ready for the wrestling matches. Would definitely attend another match in the future.
Could be a better night.

The tour guide contacted me several times to confirm we were still attending which I replied to each time. They also asked for us to arrive 15 minutes before the start time which we did. On the journey to the meeting point I asked if food was available at the tour as we had to skip dinner with the heavy traffic and the earlier meet time. We were informed only snacks would be available through the night. On arrival we were then told we wouldn’t be starting until 5/10 minutes after the original start time when it eventually started it was 20 minutes after the advertised start time. This was really disappointing and affected the rest of the tour. There was no briefing on arrival to the arena as it was rushed and so the group was split up. When we were eventually rounded up ( i assume as we were late), we were sat in the worst possible seating area, the only one with a fence in front when there was plenty of other seating available. There was also only a very brief music demonstration at the very quick drink stop and no dancing. The show was great, please be mindful you are sat on concrete. You might want to take a thick sweater to sit on. For improvements I would recommend always starting the tour on time and perhaps including food as an option when a tour is 7-10pm.
Worth every peso

Jos was the best guide. He made sure we all had a good time and taught us many useful phrases. Couldn’t have been better!

We had a blast at Lucha Libre! This is a fun experience for people who haven't ever done anything like this before. It is a tour for people who want to put themselves into the culture, let loose and have some fun. The energy is high, the masks are fun and the crowd is loud! A little tequila helps get the mood going! This is not for everybody, but if you don't take yourself too seriously and let it flow you will have a blast!
Terrible

Do not do this tour it is a rip off. It says 15 people or less which is not true we got there and it was like over 60 people on a street corner. They also give you general admission tickets in the balcony which is first come first serve. They then plan to take you into match like 30-45 min late so you have the worst seats. Not worth money buy your own tickets it’s pretty safe to get to Arena Mexico which is the Friday night match.
Great entertainment

So much fun. Santiago was a great guide! Loved the pulque & he explained Luche Libre and the fighters. Definitely do this if in CDMX.
Good, not great!
Jacqueline_M, Apr 2024
The actual Lucha Libre show was amazing, and a must do! However, it’s not necessary to do the tour. We were disappointed with a few things. Our guide did not bring the energy or give us any special insight that we couldn’t have googled in 2 mins. There was truly no added benefit to having the tour. The neighborhood was safe and we felt like we could have saved some money doing it ourselves.
The tour operator is really really badly organised
Keshav_S, Apr 2024
This tour was a disaster from the start. I can't stress enough that you SHOULD NOT USE THEM. We reached 15 minutes early, as they requested. And then had to just stand around for 30 minutes. There must have been 50 people in this "small group". We then proceeded to this dive bar where the "alcohol tasting" was a joke at best. So loud that you couldn't here anything. Spent another 30 useless minutes here. Then walked over to the stadium. Got a 10 minute briefing (easily obtainable on Google) and FINALLY walked in to the arena atleast 40 minutes late, after a few matches were already over ! It gets worse, for the first 20 minutes, couldn't organise our seats and even though I had booked 6 together, we were split up. There was NO additional information or briefing provided and if you can't understand Spanish, you are totally lost. While the matches we managed to see were entertaining enough, you would do MUCH BETTER just buying the tickets yourself for 10% of what these guys charge. AGAIN, DO NOT USE THESE GUYS !!!
So fun!

My friends and has a blast at Lunch Libre! Our guide Alex was especially helpful and such high energy it made the show even better! Highly recommend asking for Alex or Alejandro’s group if you decide to go.
Fun evening in CDMX
Cameron_V, Apr 2024
We had a lot of fun on this tour, tasting two delicious flavors of Pulque, drinking beer, and listening to the band prior to heading over to the arena as a group. Santiago gave us an orientation to the customs and vocabulary of Lucha Libre so that we could better understand what was going on. He and the other guides ensured that the evening was enjoyable for all of us!

Really fun experience! It was our first time seeing lucha libre so was nice to have someone explain what to expect. Alejandro and the other guides were so upbeat and friendly. Cumbia/Salsa bar for pulque was a great way to start the tour. Would recommend!
Do this one!
