Kenya is famed for its wildlife, but most opportunities to see animals up-close take place far from the capital. During this private half-day tour, you’ll get a chance to interact with giraffes and learn about local conservation efforts at the Giraffe Centre. At no extra cost, you’ll also enjoy optional visits to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (own expense), home to dozens of orphaned elephants, or the Kazuri Beads Factory.

I enjoyed feeding the giraffes at giraffe center, hearing the stories of all the animals at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and listening to the inspirational stories at the Bead Factory. Overall, it was an amazing experience and my tour guide Calvin was amazing.

Beeindruckende Kombination aus unmittelbarem Kontakt zu den Giraffen bei ihrer Fütterung und der Beobachtung der majestätischen Tiere in weitläufiger Umgebung; interessante Hintergrundinformationen durch Personal; kein Gedränge. Unser Fahrer Dennis hat uns nicht nur sicher transportiert und jederzeit - z.B. bei Fotoaufnahmen - freundlich unterstützt. Gerne nahmen wir auch sein Angebot an, innerhalb des gebuchten Zeitrahmens einen Einblick in die manuelle Produktion der für Kenya typischen Perlen-Kreationen zu gewinnen und eine große Produktions- und Verkaufsstätte afrikanischen Kunsthandwerks zu besuchen. Eine in jeder Hinsicht äußerst lohnende Tour!
