The slum Kibera walk tour was a memorable experience. We spent time in a class with children singing learning and sharing a meal all together. We met and talked to local people
However I gave a 3 stars because the guide didn’t know so much about the history of Kenya/Nairobi, and because I learnt that a full day is about 4 hours instead of 6 hours mentioned on the platform. And also we didn’t have the lunch as promised in the description

Hi Barth, apologies for the miscommunication. Will do better next time. Thank you for visiting Kibera
A Different View of Nairobi

Take a break from the 4 star hotels and museums for a day and experience an eye-opening, heart-tugging day to learn how some of the less-fortunate citizens live. My guide Lucas was a pleasant, intelligent and lovely young man who showed me the obvious poverty and struggle of the slums, but also introduced me to many of the lovely people who live there with pride and struggle daily to make it better. Highlights were meals with the locals, and a visit to a new school dedicated to educating the kids in the hope of a better future for them.
This tour is not for everyone. But if you want to learn, feel and perhaps make a small difference in the lives of others, this is a profound and unique opportunity to do so. Thank you Lucas, my new friend!

Thank you so much Mr. Ernest, meeting you was a blessing. I did learn a lot from you. Your view of the world is something I ought to emulate and of course I won't forget to work hard and encourage others to do the same to achieve their success. Thank you so much my rafiki.
