Great walking tour in Downtown Nairobi, being able to visit a lot of different places in about three hours. Our guide Mwose was a very nice guy to spend time with and showed great knowledge about Nairobi and Kenya history. Would definitely recommend this tour!

A great view of life in Nairobi

Tim, a native of Nairobi, was a wealth of knowledge about the city and country’s history. I got a good view of a vibrant, cosmopolitan city on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. I saw the markets, historical landmarks and crowds of people out enjoying life, from street dancers, a throng of people at a revival and families posing for professional photographers set up all over. The tour concluded with a view from an observation deck that allowed a panorama of the entire city and beyond. I really felt that I’ve “been there” after this great tour.

Excellent tour to get to know Nairobi and learn a lot about the history of Kenya as well. Tim was an excellent guide who was knowledgeable on a wide range of subjects and had answers for all of our questions. Our tour lasted about 2.5 hours and covered lots of ground ending on top of the KICC tower.

An excellent walking tour

Moses is an excellent, highly knowledgable guide. While we walked around the CBD in Nairobi he gradually unfolded the story of this city. We ended up on the conference centre roof for great views. Through the Viiator booking site and using WhatsApp we communicated about the pick up arrangements. He met me at my hotel.

Great tour to explore the city

I arrived in Nairobi the day I had the tour, which was a good first activity to do, as it gave me a great overview of the city and its history. I especially liked the views from the conference centre. I was able to organise pick up and drop off from my hotel with Obed at short notice, which made the tour much easier for me. Obed was a friendly and knowledgeable guide and is clearly very passionate to show people Nairobi and make sure they have a great time.

The company provides Exceptional Customer Service! They communicated with us via WhatsApp which made it easy for us to get in touch since we use WiFi. They responded quickly making sure we had necessary details for the tour. Our guide was Dennis. He was prompt picking us up from our hotel. Dennis is genuinely warm and it translated into the way he guided us throughout the tour. Dennis went above traditional standards to deliver Alex and I a personal experience! (More of our experience will be on the blog! bonaevoyage.com) The tour itself was very enjoyable and moderate pace. Dennis is very knowledgeable and unveiled Kenya’s history so eloquently providing the perfect segue to the rest of our stay here in Kenya. I recommend 1000% this Walking tour and would suggest you do it before you visit the Nairobi National Museum. This tour helps you unpack what you will see and learn at the museum as well as have a deeper appreciation. I can’t say enough great things about this Tour and Dennis! I truly feel like I have a brother here in Kenya now!
